They give you a 10 cent discount for using your own container.

How do I start over from scratch? I have preserved everything that came with the computer when I got it a year ago.
It is not currently in the budget to dump this one and get a mac, unfortunately, or I would do that.

It all depends. What websites have you been visiting?

All that gay male porn finally caught up to you, huh? Didn't SS warn you about that?

I will be limiting my gay male porn intake to DVDs and videotape from now on. Sheesh.
Good to see you and Coltrane on the same page on me and two guys going at it. MMF?
ETA what, are websites I've visited in the past going to prevent me from being able to start over?

Those inside out Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are very good. I predict my daughter will get to eat exactly none of them this year.
I love Halloween.

Baseball is over. I don't care about the Patriots. Coverage of the Giants up here is spotty. Celtics? Bleh! What's a girl to do? Start watching reality TV? Today's sports diversion was clicking on the NHL page at espn.com to see if there was any news on the NHL. Instead I read this fascinating article.
My favorite part:
Quote:
It was the second major suspension of the season in the league, which encourages fighting but tries to crack down on other violence.
|
I also learned this depressing fact, Hockey Night in Canada has become Movie Night. Article here I'm guessing it's the equivalent of MNF morphing into the Wonderful World of Disney.

No costume this year. Lame.
I did see a sexy Velma. Daphne and Fred were nowhere around though. My guess is they were making out in the Mystery Machine.

Just because you live in the area does not mean that you necessarily have to be a Patriots fan. And while the team is doing well, Tom Brady sucks as my fantasy quarterback. No he is not the quarterback of my fantasy - even though he is sort of, but not really cute.
There are plenty of good teams to watch and root for - although none in the state of California.
That said, you really should root for the Patriots next Sunday. I'm just saying.

A second public service announcement: If you go out and buy a shitload of halloween candy for trick or treaters, it's a good idea to actually be home when trick or treating starts, or else you're just stuck with a shitload of halloween candy.
If anyone wants any candy from the Willy Wonka variety pack, stop by my office any time in the next five weeks.

you two just reminded me that I have a piece of candy (Laffy Taffy) in my purse from the bar halloween party I was at last night. And I'm starving right now. Bless you.
RT, you are free to send me candy. PM me if you would like my address.

Best Costume
I was fairly underwhelmed at the ones I saw this year. Best costume was a guy dressed up as Michael Jackson (including sequined glove and allergy mask over his face). It wasn't the costume itself that was so great, but the fact that he was walking down the street yelling at all the little boys who were out. "Hey, little boy, come over here. I'll give you candy if you come over here." And similar.

...and so begins chapter one of "Mommy Dearest -- a bold_n_brazen Family Memoir."
Apropos of nothing, a frozen Nestle Crunch is mighty tasty -- and just the thing to tide over a hungry lawyer while driving back from a deposition in Beaucoup Egypt. Thank you, Mr. Patel of the Highway 64 Stop N Go!

Best Costume
I saw a group of maybe four guys and four girls dressed as "Girls Gone Wild." The guys had fake video equipment and looked like those GGW guys and the girls were wearing skimpy bottoms and white tank tops with black cardboard bars across their chests that said "CENSORED." It was pretty good.
