The man who claimed to have had a one-night stand with Clay Aiken now says he’s sorry he blabbed.

John Paulus, the former Green Beret who took his tale to the National Enquirer, isn’t retracting the story — but he now says he “regrets” going public with it. “I regret defying the trust of Clay;” Paulus writes on his blog. “I regret hurting him, his family and his fans; I regret that I started a blog that ridiculed him. ... I apologize to Clay for that and I hope he will accept.” Aiken’s rep didn’t return The Scoop’s calls for comment.

Do you suppose he really regrets blabbing, or really just regrets the lawsuit he's created for himself?

you should come up with a supposed substance abuse problem- that way when we see your dumber posts we think "nfh was really hitting the crack pipe hard this morning" or "gosh it seems like electro shock makes you so brain dead, it's hard to imagine it has a therapeutic value" instead of just "oh boy is nfh dumb!"

I think it's really helped people build up respect for me.

I agree that that was a bullshit call. But Wade had been taking it to the Mavs so hard and so often that you can be assured the dumbass refs would anticipate a foul call. Blame the Mavs for being thoroughly outplayed by one guy they can't develop a defense to stop. Avery Johnson is an idiot for making the time out signal and then pretending, after his guy did what he told him, that he meant he wanted a time out after the second free throw. I used to like Avery Johnson, but his rantS (plural) after the cheap shot by Stackhouse and his time out mistake and on-court tirade are making me sick.

What is the most surprising to me is the fact that Gary Payton can make big-time, clutch shots. I'm floored.

Who knew Jason Terry was this good? The Mavs would be completely lost without him.

That said, close game last night and this is still anyone's series. One big game from Dirk and it's a coin-flip. If the Heat don't close it out in Game 6 (like I said they would), they lose.

On another note, why don't the caddies for players like Van de Velde and Mickelson break or "lose" their problem clubs when they know there's a good chance their guys are about to implode? Mickelson missed 7 fairways in a row and he wants the driver on 18 with a one shot lead on one of the most punishing courses around? Uh...no. Here's your 3 wood. Better yet, take this 3 iron, jackass. You missed the fairway again and hit a fucking building? And now you want which iron so you can go for the green from here when par wins it and bogey puts you in a playoff? Uh...no. Sorry. I only have this pitching wedge. Miami outplayed Dallas in game 4 (duh). 3 and 5 were coin flips that went Miami's way, partially due to "interesting" foul calling and partially due to Dallas falling apart at the line at the end of the games. DWade was crazy good last night though. As was Terry.
