ETA: it looks like maybe that is just an updated term for Black Tie Optional. So follow up question - how many of the guys here would wear a tux (instead of a dark suit) to a Black Tie Invited wedding?
|
Only if I was the groom. And maybe not even then.

No, no, no. Women should stop doing this, at least to extremes I see. I understand trimming if you have some bushiness to deal with, but these made-up curves around the eye look recockulous. I donīt expect any better of you, NFH, because your life appears to be governed by mass media marketing of celebrity and "fashion," but the rest of you bitches should listen to me.

I still can't believe that's the same Pat O'Brien who would toss it down to Dick Stockton and Tom Heinsohn for the call of the NBA Finals.

WTF happened to that guy? I have no idea how he went from semi-respectable sports anchor to "The Insider".

Oh my god
I didn't post this as a picture because it's too disturbing once you look at her hand (not the one that is holding the cup). It's beyond skinny. It's just bones. It can't be a bad angle or anything like that.

She really kind of looks like Heather Locklear to me in that picture. Heather Locklear younger, with her hair dyed dark.

The hands also look really scary in the picture where she's kissing DJ AM.

Black Tie Invited

I guessed right: I think only the wedding party were wearing tuxes.
What's the tux-wearing ethic in LA? This was DC, where probably people are a bit more likely to wear tuxes. But this was also DC in the summer, where people are more inclined to wear tube tops and spaghetti strap camisoles.
|
If I were DebtSlave (which I'm NOT -- hence the subjunctive), I would feel compelled to point out that the guests are supposed to wear attire that is equally as formal as what the wedding party is sporting. If the groom is wearing a tux, then the guests should be wearing something equally as formal (and, if I were Debt Slave, I would have to add here that the tuxedo is really no more formal than a dark suit, and to dictate to your invitees what to wear assumes that your invitees are barn-bred rubes, and is really rather rude, don't you know...).
Aren't you glad I'm not Debt Slave?
