WTF does her being a big raging dyle have to do with anything? This is kind of like saying "Portia Di Rossi is unlike Frank Sinatra because she was born in England!"

Listen, ABBA, you seem like a nice girl with your own unique brand of rough-hewn charm and an engaging, if rather raw, conversational style. I just fail to understand your apparent hostility toward our society's elite.

That show sucked huh? Cross and Tambor- ihad high hopes.
|
I guess I missed the Sunday National Enquirer about PdR's sexual orientation. Huh. 'Splains the lack of chemistry, and makes the on-screen marriage to David Cross's character funnier.
Don't get me wrong --- you should check out Arrested Development. It had three laugh-out-loud moments, which is more than Andy Richter ever had. The fake documentary style doesn't really convince. It's just a single-camera sitcom, when the critics were saying it was Christopher Guest-worthy.
I'm just saying they should have more Tambor and Cross, and less Bateman and Di/De Rossi. Also, the is-he-or-isn't-he-retarded brother is a nice touch. Just the right amount.

I think they were much better looking than the average for kids that age (20-25). Definitely not good looking compared to 20-25 year olds as usually depicted on TV by professionals, but, compared to my HS or college class? Waaaay better looking. The simple fact that 1/3 of them weren't obese speaks volumes. The ugliest was the Newhouse kid, and frankly (i) for a college freshman he wasn't that bad looking, and (ii) he was intelligent enough to be, in my opinion, the most "datable" of the bunch. Even the Weil kid, who was so obnoxious, was pretty cute. The woman who quit her job because she wanted to go do other things at 8:00 at night wasn't "turn you head" beautiful, but she was on about a CBK-level of good-looking.
I thought the girl who rode horses (was that Bloomberg?) was quite lovely.
BR(I don't really remember the names, so if I've screwed up sorry)C

My guess is that Atticus thinks that De Rossi and Bessette have similar features. Her sexual orientation didn't factor into the equation.
How exactly did you mean the word dyke?

Gag. I find this concept repugnant. WTF? Are we canines? Is this like a caste system? Gag. I thought America was all about what each individual could do, not what their daddy (or granddaddy or greatgranddaddy) did. This makes me TUIMMAWL.

No hostility, my pretty one. Just disdain for those who think parentage makes them better than anyone else.

Oh. The edit makes more sense. Di/De Rossi played Bessette in the made-for-TV John-John movie earlier this year.

She was born in England?!? Weird that, she doesn't seem anything like Bob Hope.

Amend my comment to reflect some producer's opinion of the similarity instead of Atticus's.

I don't see the hostility in your posts that PLiF speaks of, perhaps that means I am hostile myself? Relying on parentage may in fact be a sign of weakness, I don't know cuz I don't care. In my reality, star-bellied sneetches are no better than those who do not have stars upon thars.

Yes, yes, this is America where anyone can fight their way to the top, and all that. What a lovely and simple world you have. I must drop in from time to time and bask in the egalitarian idealism of it all. Mingle with the regular folk for a bit. I think it would do me good.
Oh, and this may be a small point, but I think it at least arguable that disdain suggests a certain level of hostility.

Which ironically, and to come full circle. is why the Bessette/Kennedy hit the rocks and why she got all Wild On with the coke and the exes if you are to believe the Natl Enquirer and her old best friend Slave. She was no Paris Hilton.
|
I never said she was a friend. Let alone an acquantaince.
Let me repeat - I saw her close up on several occasions at several charitable events I went to. And each instance only served to reinforce my opinion that she was a pale, mousy, horse-faced, hunched coke whore.
She was always well dressed, but you can also put lipstick on a pig.
Paris ain't exactly beautiful, but I'd fuck her in a NY second.
