I was just going to laugh this post off. Roll with the punches and the like. But this is not the first abusive post that a certain pointy-hatted poster has aimed in my direction. I'm afraid that this lone rogue poster has made the boards that I love into a hostile posting environment. And therefore, with regret, I am forced to leave the boards. Because the maintenance of my self-esteem and emotional well-being is just too important. Sure, PLF, you have forced me away from the habit that I love, but you have not broken my spirit. I will move on. And I will be stronger for the experience. I'm sure that there are other lawyer boards out there that are not tainted with your cynicism and foul language. I will find those boards and I will thrive there. Because I am a Survivor. In fact, if you hadn't forced me out today, some excellent Survivor spoilers would have been posted by me for the benefit of the FB this afternoon. But that is no longer in the cards.
So I bid you all (except Flower) a fond farewell! I will be checking PMs for those of you that care to remain in contact, but I will never again post on lawtalkers.com. I am sorry that it has come to this. Those of you that know me, I'll let you know if and when I find a kinder and gentler law-talking community. |
