My Lord, how has this happened? Tell me you invented the term "jumped the shark" sometime before yesterday when a guest on the lamest morning talk show in America (Elliott in the Morning) explained the term.
Please validate my faith oh Princess. Please tell me you didn't pick that term up from Elliot's show.
Just in case, can anyone recommend a new religion?

Sure, and it was a funny joke. I wasn't joking, it did make me chuckle.

That sonds interesting. What is this In demand tv? Is this the same as Comcast's HBO ON Demand which, if I have it, I have no idea how to find it (and I looked last night after Rich Girls started to bore).

I think both Salon and the NYT (the magazine?) recently did pieces on the show. Check it out.

Skin, Boomtown axed
from cnn --
LOS ANGELES, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- Fox has canceled prolific producer Jerry Bruckheimer's new series "Skin" after three low-rated airings.
Meanwhile, NBC has officially pulled the plug on the critically praised sophomore drama "Boomtown."
"Skin," Fox's "Romeo and Juliet"-esque serial drama set in the world of Los Angeles' adult entertainment industry, shut down production Tuesday after completing eight episodes.
Skin is the show that I accidently left on my tv recently (I was watching the show before it) that actually forced me to get up and locate the remote because it was so bad. My condolences on Boomtown.

I'd give her a 5 regardless of the angle. She always struck me as being average. She benefitted from having access to trainers, clothes, makeup, hairdressers, stylists. If I had that much time and money to spend on my appearance I'd look much better than I do now.
Anne
Not that there is anything wrong with the way I look now.

I've had good experience with Jose Florist (202) 737-1929. They're closer to the Convention Center than the K Street corridor, but close enough. I've had them deliver to Georgetown before without problem, and that's about twice as far.

South Park is still genius. Last week, they skewered the music industry when Cartman decided to start his own Christian rock group Faith + 1. He yells at Token (the black character) who is suddenly the bass player: "Token, you're black, of course you can play bass." Token does and has a look of such horror on his face we had to rewind and watch it again and again.
We are also watching Playmakers.

Honey., I love you to death but there is this thing you do that is annoyintg. I know I probalby do a million annoyng things. Fine. But I have to point this out. You always say "we" when you could say "I". Especilaly when you say a feleling like "We were really hungry or We were reallly tired.",. IT is an annoying thing people in couples do as if to illustrate that they have merged ito one greater being unable to think of themselves in the singuler. It is ok IRL sometimes so long as it isnt overdone, and is appropriate, but hter, we know you as an individual and not half of a whole. Most of us dont know your SO, and Iam sure we would love him if we did,but we know and love you, so the use of the "I" to describe your feelings or what you did or whatnot would be nice. At least on aoccasion. There are many many people in committed relationships here, but I dont see them doing that. Which works well bc I think of them as individuals and dont know the SOs, so throwing in the plural is pointlless.
You can take that for what its worht and know it isnt personal or anything. I jsut felt I finally had to say something. And if you want to ignore me now, or give me the quid and say something that annoys you about me, that is fine too.

but what hotel was it shot in?
November 5, 2003 -- PARIS Hilton - who has already weathered the worldwide circulation of a graphic photo of her exiting a car minus her panties - is now starring in an amateur porno, a la Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. The video, shot three years ago, features the hot-blooded hotel heiress and Shannen Doherty's husband, Rick Solomon, in a variety of X-rated activities. Doherty and Solomon split up after the tape was made, but have since reconciled. Hilton "keeps staring into the camera and trying to show her best side," said a source. "She knows she is being taped and [Solomon] keeps trying to get her into sex positions that are better for taping, if you know what I mean." An anonymous donor, who may be planning to sell the tape over the Internet, dropped off copies to media people. A rep for Hilton said: "This was something she did with Rick while they were dating, after he was no longer with Shannen, and it was something that was intended for their own personal use. This tape was never intended to be viewed by the public and it is in poor taste that someone has decided to release it."
