Apparently if I were to walk half a mile or whatever to the cupcake area, I would have to stand in line for some extended period. So I will not be getting cupcakes.
Someone else brought some back for all of us though! People I work with rock!

There are clearly not enough cupcake shops near me.
I would do disrespectful things for some of those cupcakes.

Fringey today there was a retirement party and i passed on cake, eating cheese, whole wheat crackers and a strawberry.
yesterday, there was a shower with cupcakes again I had cheese, whole wheat crackers and a blueberry.
this is making me sad. okay, and cranky.

Definitely worth seeing. And bonus drinking time. (I guess I don't see why the fact that I want to see an opening band precludes me from treating their set as both an ejoyable musical experience and cocktail hour.) I would go for all of Art Brut, but you should at least make sure you get there for a few songs.

back in the days when we weren't all metrosexual, back when we could still make gay jokes here, back before i got sensitive, I was talking to two homosexual friends about wiping. One of them made the point that there seemed little reason to wipe with toilet paper. he opined that you were for the most part just smushing stuff around. my at-the-time neanderthal self thought his point was "there is no reason to bother too much." That seemed extremely neglectful even to me. I now realize what he really meant is that steps beyond simple TP wiping are required.
90% of my "special times" are either before or during a run, so I can simply wipe secure in the knowledge that a complete shower will soon follow.
Beat that: I typically take a shower to tidy up.
