Why is it so hard

The photograph in that link makes me think that Jack White (whose Racontuers were quite good at ACL) might want to consider changing his look. It's been done before, and that's not an association I'd want to encourage.

I have to admit that at first I was thinking, huh, Jack White is resembling Liza these days?

Inconceivable? I do not think that that word means what you think it means.

You make a good point, as did Hank. But because Felder tries very public cases and he must know such a complaint would end up on the smoking gun and even some "legitimate" news sites, so I would think he would care more in such a case. Then again, who cares about the grammar when the story is so tacky and compelling?
Grammar is not what makes Felder "compelling" so it matters little.

Speaking of, you've been awfully quiet on the bitter haiku front.

Edited because, well, why bother?

And to give recognition to Not Bob for the subject line.

I didn't want to sound too crazy. Really, though, it's pathetic.

To me, it's not a matter of whether he has to make a conscious decision to care or not; it should just be better, automatically. People ought to care about language, dammit!

Often times the prevailing party can recover attorney fees by contract or staute. We who lose call it adding insult to injury.

Maybe I should try to lose less often.

He only checked to insure that his name was in bold on the front page of a pleading he knew would end up featured on a popular website.

I would say you are preaching to the converted but I usually strive to avoid the cliché.

(I don't believe in God, but I do believe in Strunk and White.)

that a short-fused smart ass like you can walk around SF without regularly getting your ass kicked should not be seen as your being able to do so in other locales generally, and specifically here.

My OTHER eye has started twitching. Is there such a thing as sugar-free gatorade? I am choosing to believe this is the result of electrolyte imbalance.
