But here's the thing. I want you to prove to me that you're hot and/or real. So, I'm up to meet at sbux whenever you are ready.

Given her description--boxy electric blue with white (p)leather, is their any chance whatsoever the driver was hot?

Good point. I threw in the sbux because I think it's funny. In the PM I suggested a drink at a place convenient to her,* because I am so nice.

Are you saying that only hot guys drive hot cars? Because it's mostly the opposite. The hottest cars are driven by fat balding old men - for the most part.

I think he thought he was hot.
I have seen those cars that nfh posted a picture of around. The people in them always, ALWAYS reek "I think I am so hot."

god I wish. But driving that kind of car gets you attention from the wrong kind of folks. Like people who drive black and whites. And criminals.

I think he's saying that a hot guy would have gone for, like, a regular car rather than the weird white upholstery old convertible.

No, I'm saying the obverse.*
* Or whatever it's called. No hot guy** would drive a boxy, 20 year-old electric blue car with white pleather.
** ETA: Hot as defined by anyone other than fringe, who would find a donut-shaped guy hot.
To wit:

I'm thinking there's a better chance of a hot guy (quirky maybe) in a funky car than in a beater. Maybe he was looking for Erisa.

It is easy to underestimate the negative effect that type of awkward phrasing can have on the reader. Paying attention to these sorts of details could really turn things around here for you. Not that I am suggesting that you want to turn them around or that they should be turned around ...........

This is just the sort of careful insight that has made you such a valuable member of our little circle of cool, lo these many years. What are you wearing?
