It ccould be done. Seriously, I have seen a "personals" add-on for the software we use. The problem is that people wouldn't really use it for anything other than to make up funny, phoney ads. So, despite the humor value it could have, I doubt we will be adding it.

Isn't yente (sp?) Hebrew for gossip? I seem to recall that the female role was a gossip who also made matches. I think.

Like this?
matchmaker, matchmaker, let me pay you $10,000 so you can introduce me to reasonably interesting people with commitment issues and plenty of emotional baggage . . .

I think that THAT is precisely why we should add it; for the (potential) comedic value.

I don't think we have, as a group, shown enough comedic potential to justify the bandwidth and server space such an endeavor would consume.
Now, if we could restrict it so that humorless twits like myself couldn't post ads, I'd be all for it.

ARE YOU JOKING? We're still talking about using this place to find, date and/or fuck each other, right? Because if we are, this place is a regular riot.

Sadly, Howard Cosell and Roone Arledge have gone to that great kayak in the sky
I feel the time has come to resurrect "Battle of the Network Stars." It would be helpful to know whether these people have any talents before it's their turn to host SNL.
Plus, we could watch the chick from JAG throw knives at a blindfolded Simon Cowell. I'm getting a woody just thinking about it.

Why did that post just make an image of Mark Gastineau pop into my head?

Atticus, I didn't know you were into pregnant, knife-throwing chicks wearing military uniform.

What? Are you kidding? Why the potential "photoshopped" pictures of mdjd (aka Ass of the Week) would be worth it all by themselves!

Something like:
SGWF, seeks SGF, race unimportant, spiritual but not religious, for long walks by the river, good food, great wine. Prefer someone who likes to eat out.
