George Voldemort Bush

"Harry Potter's worldwide popularity is so broad-based that it has become favorite reading for Islamic terror suspects at the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay..."

Allah forbid that one of our brave marines should kick a copy, lest Amnesty International renew their "torture" mantra.

Sorry, but you need to qualify your answer to include the billions of dollars of US bribes that flow to Egypt to keep it from more futile attacks. Oh and you have to define "allowing weapons smuggling tunnels to be freely built in Egypt" as being a peaceful act.

Time to step down?

Now that the Feds have started arresting UN "officials" for oil for food bribes can we please admit:

1 France/Germany are slaves to $$ and the worst of whores-

2 Tyrone was as wrong on this one ("it is a trumped up faked story") as Kofi was complicit.

General Franks takes my side on the Tora Bora issue. Does this mean I win?
Turns out there was definitive intelligence that OBL was there:
  • In a forthcoming book, the CIA field commander for the agency's Jawbreaker team at Tora Bora, Gary Berntsen, says he and other U.S. commanders did know that bin Laden was among the hundreds of fleeing Qaeda and Taliban members. Berntsen says he had definitive intelligence that bin Laden was holed up at Tora Bora — intelligence operatives had tracked him — and could have been caught. "He was there," Berntsen tells Newsweek.

....In his book — titled "Jawbreaker" — the decorated career CIA officer criticizes Donald Rumsfeld's Defense Department for not providing enough support to the CIA and the Pentagon's own Special Forces teams in the final hours of Tora Bora....That backs up other recent accounts, including that of military author Sean Naylor, who calls Tora Bora a "strategic disaster" because the Pentagon refused to deploy a cordon of conventional forces to cut off escaping Qaeda and Taliban members.

But you were wrong about Hawaii ("it is not and never will be one of the 48 states").

Yes, definitive proof that could not be questioned, based upon what a guy, who worked for an agency you say was dead wrong about WMD, highlights to sell his book. Again, you are a smart guy so when you post shit like this I can only take it as disrepect for the intellect of SS, SHP Wonk and all them. I mean, i understand why you would find them intellectually weak but your slip is showing here.

The CIA was much less wrong about WMD than the White House was. For example, the White House kept talking about uranium from Niger ("OK, so the CIA says it's groundless, but Tony says they heard something about it too, so we can still get it into the State of the Union....") after the CIA told them not to. Not that you care.

I responded to it by referring to your erroneous prediction about Hawaii. I think that leaves us even.

Plus in 1958 I wasn't age of majority yet. I don't think the Hawaii thing should count.

OK, so I got you on a technicality. To make up for it, you can use this to make yourself a new avatar:

Anecdote of the Day

A popular Des Moines Barber shop had a new robotic barber installed. A fellow came in for a haircut. As the robot began to cut his hair it asked him, "What's your IQ?"

The man replied, "130." So the robot proceeded to make conversation about physics, astronomy, investments, insurance, and so on. The man listened intently and said, "This is really cool."

Later, another gent came in for a haircut and the robot asked him as it began the haircut, "What's your IQ?" The man responded, "100." So the robot started talking about football, baseball, and so on. The man thought to himself, "Wow, this is really cool."

Later on, a third guy came in to the barber shop. As with the others, the robot barber asked him, "What's your IQ?" The man replied, "70." The robot then said, "So, I understand you Democrats are really excited about Hillary running for president?
