 | Um... how about something a little more cheery? Politics has permanently (well, permanently for today at least) dampened my mood.

I haven't seen any good movies lately, but am hoping to see The Incredibles over the weekend. It looks like a nice little pick-me-up. |

 | I am curious as to what a "gas-powered pistol" is -- does it not use gunpowder? WTF? At first I thought of cordless leafblowers, but it's not like pistols use electricity, so my curiosity/ignorance remains.

I want to see Ray. I did want to see Team America, but maybe not for a bit -- it's too political. |

My mother knows nothing about animation and couldn't care less so she feigned interest in that for about half a second before regaling him with stories about her post-retirement career as a substitute teacher.

I was more polite (of course) and asked this little man what his little animation company was doing. And he said they were thinking about doing something with over-the-hill superheros.

So I had the inside scoop on this new movie and didn't even know it!!! Plus I didn't get to tell him how much I like Finding Nemo etc. But he probably gets that way too much anyway so I won't do it even when I see him on my next vacation. |

 | Interesting you ask. SS and I discussed this yesterday. SS tells me that the keys to success with the laaydies require the following:

(1) Reservation, local Red Roof
(2) The Gold Box
(3) CD Player with remote
(4) Neil Sedaka's "Calendar Girl"

(5) Requisite supplies from Eckerd's. (Note: Remember scented candles!)

What do you think? Is he leading me astray?
