Atticus, your avatar reminded me to thank the person who suggested that show (was it you?). That is some warped funny shit. Thank god for tivo b/c I have no idea when the show actually comes on or what station it's on, but it's so worth a season's pass.

Did I miss last month's meeting of the Don Koharsky Fan Club?

Speaking of hockey refs, Kerry Frazier has good hair.

No silly, I like him. Don't you remember the infamous Schoenfeld-Don Koharski dispute during the 1988 (I think) playoffs? When Schoenfeld yelled that at Koharski? (Also part of a Wayne's World inside joke - i.e. Officer Koharski who loved crullers.)
I am impressed, oh knowledgeable one of the rink.

That was when Koharski accused Schoeny of pushing him in the tunnel. As I recall it, Schoeny was suspended, the Devils got a court injunction to cancel the suspension and the referees refused to work Game 4 requiring replacement officials. To resolve the controversy, the NHL suspended Schoenfeld for Game 5.

I didn't connect it. I suck.

And if Bogart wasn't such a hack, then ALL three would be.

I guess I'll need to wait for this to come out in a hunting pink before I'll buy.

The problem being, of course, that I'll inevitably put the thing on inside-out when I'm rushing out the door one morning and thereby electrocute myself flat on my ass when I reach for my own wallet.

This article is so stupid. First, there is nothing that says the same people did not then turn around and dial the right number. Second, it's still not mathematically significant. Third, it's a freakin tv show.

For the second time today, I am driven to say: Let it go.

Oh, Jesus. A fat black man wins a popularity contest, and now we're gonna have howls for a recount? An ill wind blows no man to good.

Oh no. Our first spat. A disagreement over Schoeny. Oh my. :argue:

You do not like he who was the first defenseman drafted in 1972? You dislike the man of whom it is said "Few Sabre fans will ever forget the 1972 December evening when Schoeny took Bruins' Wayne Cashman "outside," and, for good measure, man-handled two other big, bad Bruins in the same contest." I am heartbroken that you do not respect the man who, along with Tim Horton, helped the Sabres in 1972-73 to attain the third-best single-season improvement in modern National Hockey League history and, in only their third season, achieve "a playoff berth in a rugged Eastern Division stocked with established NHL powerhouses."
Your love and knowledge of the 1972 Sabres is equalled only by my law school roommate's love and knowledge of the 1981 Yankees, and my love and knowledge of the 1987 Blue Jays.

Congrats (I think).
