Bourbon is a much better value. But then, I don't hate America.

Ah, well that's just the market (and the exchange rate). They didn't properly anticipate (in the mid 80s) the success of their marketing efforts.

Actually, I think it's a conspiracy put in motion by the shadowy leaders of the Democrat Party.

I'm upper, at least from an income standpoint, but, fyi, ftr, fwiw, I grew up lower to lower middle, and its that experience and the experience of my family that shapes my viewpoints, even though, even as a child I fretted that they were too ignorant and uneducated to know enough to arm themselves against the tyranny of government, and I also suspect that they are all Dems. Hopefully their faith in government programs like SS and Medicare serve them well, but I don't have high hopes.

But you don't consider Kentucky part of America, so wrong answer, Captain Crunch.

Uh uh. The plaintive wail re: cost of scotch was in support of Sebby's contention that he's just a regular, middle-income schmo.
At least, I think it was.

Stills and racehorces. And the inspiration for Neil Diamond's "Kentucky Woman." What's not to like?
Captain Crunch?

True. The responsibility of actually governing, as opposed to just bitching, overwhelmed them.
I cling to the hope that the same won't happen to the Dems.

Doesn't get any crunchier than Oregon.
Or were you referring to your title? Did I miss the promotion to Major?

Fair enough. I should probably insist on only whisky destilled from organic free-trade hemp.
