See, and you claim that i misconstrued your attack as ad hominem. I wonder why. Go back to my original post. Other than calling Goss crazy, I speculated as to motivations, and suggested they were lacking. Of course, I offered up the possiblity I was missing something. Oddly, penske, but not you, responded substantively to that inquiry, to which I responded.
Maybe I'm right; maybe I'm wrong, but why are you riding my jock as opposed to saying "it's all a plan; don't question the plan, because it's a good plan"?
Frankly, the way this admin. has conducted foreign policy (putting aside that the CIA seems to be conducting it, if the reasons Goss offers are to be believed), is particularly worthy of inquiry, regardless of how minimal the explanations they give are.

Until we can follow Brazil's example and ease our dependence of foreign oil, yeah. Then we can build the wall around ourselves and throw away the key.

Actually on my first post about this I quoted you because you were making sense when you said "or are we not getting told everything?". It was your second post when you misquoted me that I attacked you. Anyway, you will be given no quarter today because on Saturday night at a poker game I got gang raped by a bunch of the posters to this board. Although you and the Sgt. Club were not there I am pretty sure you both were part of the conspiracy. Therefore, I am going to assume, that any comments made by members of the conspiracy are in furtherance of said conspiracy, and therefore, are intrinsically flawed.

Its the new paradigm. I invented the GreedyPolitics board on Infirm, which begat this Board, and yet I have never posted substantively (although I suppose Not Me attained an aura of faux substantiveness).
Seemed overdue.

None of my socks were there, because I retired from socking, but if you want to send me your ante to the pots that I would have won had I been there I will text message my paypal account.

Bitch please. Club and I weren't in, so it's all those purported doves. They'd rather rape and pillage in the bay area than in Iraq, where it's deserved.

Speaking of which, McCain was on the Today Show this morning and it was noted that we (the US) are now Vietnam's biggest trading partner. Anyone think it's possible to trade him back there?

This statement is ignorant on so many levels. So the Republicans in the State Government in California are responsible for what the Republicans are doing in Washington? Because the Republicans in Washington are running a deficit, does that mean that Democrats all over the nation are now above criticism if they run deficits? Are the macro situations facing the State government in California the same as the Federal government? So in 1993 when the Dems controlled every branch of the federal government and were running deficits, that meant that during that time the Democrats lost all moral standing to critisize Republicans in control of state capitals for runing deficits? Do you really not grasp the ramifications of a two party system?
|
Agree with everything you said -- except criticizing the Dems for not eliminating the Reagan/Bush deficit within the first year in office -- before they had even passed a budget -- is a little..... much.
