No, no. Or not entirely. Other factors can make one drop below the floor. But one would have to be "thrown together" with the person, as Spanky might say.

It's early this year.

Anyway, I've been expecting it next week since about September, when the snowflakes started going up and the "pre-christmas sale" signs were being hung.

Isn't Presidents day the week after next?

That was my point. I used to be able to attribute my lack of success with the lay-dees to looks (which, I consoled myself, are attributable to genetic factors beyond my control).
