We alll want a liar to be President. The issue is which liar we favor.

John McCain has had ample opportunity to explain his 100 year thing -- how do we get Iraq from the current situation to being like Japan or South Korea, and he has not done so. Instead, he tells Jon Stewart that the "endorsement" of Obama by Hamas is a valid issue for the general election.
And the whole "100 years thing" was a fragment, a snap response to someone asking him about President Bush's 50 years in Iraq comment. Please, Hank, since John McCain won't, please explain how we get from engaging in street fighting and house battles this week in Sadr City to Japan, and how long this will take before the 100 years clock starts to tick.
And while you're at it, perhaps you can explain the relevance of foreign "endorsements" of either Senator McCain or Obama.
Or, failing that, how about why using a fragment of Obama's answer to a radio talk show host after his speech on race in a negative ad is acceptable if using Senator McCain's 100 years comment is not.

You do understand that I used Obama's smear defensively in response to ty's whining. You seem to think I used it offensively.
Sometimes I wonder if you guys work in teams like a good cop bad cop act.

(1) Even you don't think that Boehner thought that Obama was refering to Israel.
(2) What did Obama say about McCain's 100 years? I've never heard him address it?

Interesting how you chose to link to that one, and not the other more interesting Tapper article about how Obama takes responsibility for absolutely nothing and continues to throw staff member after staff member, advisor after advisor, and friend after friend, under the bus.

Actually, I didn't. I'll make a note of it in my files.

Am I the bad cop? Because I kinda look like the guy on the right. And Ty *is* more dapper.

I remember an ad put out by the Democratic Party. I don't remember Obama.

We were having a conversation about the bullshit efforts conservatives are making to smear Obama as anti-Israel, not a conversation about interesting things that Jake Tapper has written lately. This may surprise you, but I don't especially follow his ouevre.

By the way, does McCain employ anyone who is not a lobbyist?

There was the utube thing, but I can't remember Obama himself addressing it.
So McCain isn't ready to stay for 100 years?

I know you don't want to talk about these spurious attacks on Obama, so how about instead we talk about Hagee - seems he's finally read the Bible and decided the Catholic Church isn't the Great Whore! I trust McCain's fine being on the podium and seeking Hagee's endorsement as long as he's just anti-Semitic and not anti-Catholic, too, right? They can sing Tom Lehrer songs together and stuff?
