Six Feet Under and Out of Order
I was reading the Salon recap on Six Feet and it said someting about Russell being obviously gay. The charcter did not sound my gaydar. Anyone else agree with Salon?
That episode gave me the most horrific nightmare about being shot in the head multiple times. It was so creeeeeeepy.
Did anyone watch Out of Order? I started it, found it a bit cutesy like in an Ally McBeal kind of way, but that may be the effect of watching after Six feet. Worth trying again?

C'mon, he may want to have sex with the dead, but dead women, he was broken hearted by Ruth's marriage.

Are you kidding me? The pisco sour is so early spring 2003. Only girls from Iowa will still be drinking them this summer.

This is the summer of the Rob Roy.

My bad, I thought once you passed a certain income level it automatically went from "hick" to "cheesy" kind of like "ghetto" goes to "ghetto fabulous" when you buy the same crap you had before, but get it platinum plated and diamond encrusted.

Best Sport for TV -- Bike Racing
The 2003 Giro ended with the biggest margin of victory in 30 years, but with the race for second place coming down to 5 seconds in a very exciting time trial.
I tried to find a picture with the winner Gilberto Simoni standing with podium girls (I must not have the same access as Penske).
This is (Super) Mario Cippolini receiving a medal for setting the record for most stage wins in the Giro d'Italia, with a podium girl standing behind him. He's too attractive to not include:

Speaking of cycling, didja hear Jan Ullrich found a team and will be in the Tour de France this year after all?
If he hasn't been partying, should be a lively Tour particularly in the mountain stages.

Though I do love sangria on a hot afternoon.

Apparently, he didn't go home to Germany, so he couldn't get fat in the off-season.
Bianchi is riding races in a neutral kit, so I hope they will have it together by the start of the tour. I wonder if they will wear that Bianchi seafoam green.
Having Jan there should be very exciting, though losing Beltran to Postal will not help him on the mountains. Still Bianchi should be pretty strong.

I never thought of it that way. When you continue to spend your summers in Wawa, you're always going to be hick no matter how much money you make.

Stock Market Uptick.
Over the past couple of months, as the stock market has been rising, so has the volume of my work. Although I do not directly work in the securities / finance area, I think it's a good sign of things to come. But, I wonder if others are as busy as I am.
So, what of it? Are y'all busier these days then you were, say, six months ago? If so, are you buying stock? I'm about ready to jump back into the market in a big way.

Seven, this is weird. Three possibilities: (1) everybody is busier these days, and suddenly so this afternoon, (2) everybody is trying to look busy, to be like you, or (3) everybody is at schwab.com.
Hellooooooo? Is anybody home?
