What fun would that be? Plus, I am enjoying the thought of wonk puking and posting the pics.

I have a camera phone and I'm not afraid to snap and post, people. Don't fuck with my stomach.

Did the mayo smell like clorox?

Best go back and review, old man. I was never part of this particular train wreck.

Is fighting allowed in the NCAA? Is fighting allowed in the European leagues? In the junior leagues in Canada? If not, then why is it allowed inthe NHL? For entertainment's sake?

Fighting should not be tollerated. It's stupid. Men will be boys and all that, but if they fight they should receive the equivalent of the soccer red card. See how much your teammates appreciate your getting back at the other guy when you force them to play a man down for the rest of the game.

Fighting persists in the NHL only because many fans like it.

No, it was created by the NHL supreme being as part of the overall sporting plan as set forth in a (lost) book of the Bible.

You're only saying that because you haven't done the sex enough recently.

Fighting is allowed on the basis of the NHL's theory, as I earlier posted. Not allowed in Europe, allowed in junior hockey. Not allowed in Olympic hockey.

The NHL version of the game is the Canadian game, which evolved out of a very boring game (no forward passing allowed, if you can believe it) into an exciting game (in my opinion). Along the way, fighting became part of it. Also, the trap became part of it, which in my opinion sucks, but whatever.

The Europeans imported the game at a much later date. They were all raised on soccer- so made the game soccer-like - diagonal passes instead of stickhandling, less violence etc.

Comparing the NHL game to soccer is not exactly correct. It's not as much a part of the tradition.

This involves both Abuse of Federalism issues and Fat People Suck issues, but I decided to post it here rather than the PB.

It's a proud day for America when we can't decide which we love more: litigiousness or fries.

Fun with bush (and Cheney)

The Bush campaign website will allow you to create campaign posters with custom slogans.

According to the Wonkette blog,, the system does try to catch the obvious bad stuff, but apparently it can be easily confused, and can even be made to spew forth some pretty foul language. Nice.
