STFU, indeed.

Technically maybe son, but the more correct term to this rightminded W supporter would seem to be "RINO".
Say hi to Mayor Bloomberg for me.

With the use of that last phrase, I'd like to clarify that you are not me.

I must have missed the memo. Did we finally discover a link between Iraq and Al Qaeda? Did someone tie the Abu Ghraib prisoners to 9/11? Was the Iraqi general that US soldiers murdered* the hijackers' secret commander?
*you know, the general who was killed in that act of self-defense that SgtClub referred to -- where they just had to asphyxiate and beat him to death after tying him up in a sleeping bag because if they hadn't, he might have burst from the sleeping bag, ripped off his arm and leg shackles, and bitch-slapped an American with his penis?

18000= (20000 trained while someone, who I can't mention or I lose, did nothing) - 2000 killed. Bush has a long way to go to beat the 20K number.

What rule? Serious question.
Personally I don't think 9/11 pictures should be censored. We should all remember. And I can't see how viewing those pictures would cause anyone problems at work, which in my view is the only reason to censor pics here.
Today's ridiculous, persistent references to 9/11 as justifying anything in Iraq are a misuse and a shameful dishonor of the people who died on 9/11, but that's besides the point.

It would be nice if it were a one-day-only kind of thing, actually, but it's been going on for almost three years now.

This rule.
The 9/11 pictures weren't edited into links. The pics of burned corpses were.

Yes, but it reaches new levels when the neo-cons have nothing else to say. Confronted with the reality that Americans are torturing prisoners, and with steadily increasing evidence that this was not a few isolated instances but rather a systemic and systematic procedure that was approved and supported high up in the chain of command, and all they can do* is claim some connection to 9/11.
* well, not all they can do. They can also lie about what actually occurred, by claiming that it was nothing but making people wear panties on their head when even the admissions of the US military -- not to mention photos published in every major newspaper -- demonstrate that it is far, far more.

Ah. Forgive the misunderstanding. Having seen Not Me's silliness and screed once, I had no interest in looking back to see what the edits were.

You know, sweetie. As someone who is so often literal and humorless -- I would reccommend that you invest in a good dictionary and study hard. A better grasp of what words actually mean might help you in your posting.
You seem to have had real trouble recently with the use of such words as torture, indicia, and totalitarian. I think these issues hold you back from achieving the true heights of posting greatness to which you aspire.
For example, as to the Fallujah incident -- There is no definition of torture which would encompass an RPG to a car which causes an explosion and burns the occupants alive. Nor is mutilating, abusing, or hanging a corpse torture. {The fourth guy, who got out of the car to be shot in the chest and beaten to death -- maybe.}
Anyway, just a suggestion, for what its worth. Now, how about showing us another animated rendering of your cooter?

Neither you or I has actually seen or heard any such thing. There have been hearsay reports, wishful thinking of investigative reporters, and the testimony of one computer analyst sargeant who actually saw nothing but tesitified as to what he heard.
And until I see further proof [or any proof], I refuse to believe this was anything more than the result of an understaffed, overworked, overheated, undertrained reserve regiment misusing their command and misusing interrogation tactics for all the wrong reasons.
Notwithstanding this, I am utterly disappointed that more heads aren't rolling over this. This is an utter disgrace to the veterans of this country and the men and women of this country who serve in the armed forces with honor.
I would personally make the guilty serve time in Gitmo to show the rest of the world we care.
