Unless and until one of my lovers starts lactating lemonade or it turns out I was really citrussexual and just didn't realize it, then I doubt it.

Thanks for invoking my name though and now I am off to suckle at the breast d'jour!

Water
DDP
Crystal Light raspberry lemonade
Iced tea
Coffee
Diet Coke (only very occasionally, because it's yucky)
Diet cream soda (not much recently, but I think I'm going to pick some up on the way home because it's yummy)

So, I'm wondering, is this new "Tales From the Front" thing designed to thwart the Ignore List?

Nope. What makes you ask that?

The characterization may have been a lot of things, but one of them was not a trope.

I'm drinking all of the Diet Coke that Ty gave up. Plus my own share. Notify the UN War Crimes Tribunal.

In the mornings, I often enjoy a nonfat mocha from the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. I cut down in the summer because iced coffees taste weird to me. Down here in LA, people seem loyal to either Coffee Bean or Starbucks. I hate Starbucks coffee. Not because it's a giant chain forcing out small coffee shops by serving heavily marketed, overpriced coffee. I just think it tastes burnt. There used to be regional sodas/pops/soft drinks many years ago. There's only a handful left from days gone by.

You know what's a great cold beverage? One that I would like delivered to my office in a frosty mug? Henry Weinhard's Root Beer. It's very tasty, with a sweet vanilla flavor. If I get out of here at a reasonable hour (unlikely), I'll pick up a six pack on the way home. One for now, five for the next hot afternoon.

When I am out, I drink club soda with lime.

I often dump emer'gen'c into my water or club soda if I need a little pick me up. I have been caffeine free for five or six years.
Water on a daily basis (never drink soda), then wine or vodka (usually on the rocks) when I go out.

Apparently McDonalds is sick of being sued

So it has decided to sue someone itself...cause he said the food sucked.

This reminds of a story…several years ago I was in a Taco Bell in Houston at about 3 in the morning and the manager, a 300 hundred pound fat bottomed chick, had a catfight with a teen-aged beauty prom queen customer (sexy and seventeen) after her highness screamed that the bean n’ cheese burrito tasted like dog vomit. The manager flopped over the counter and attacked her, whereupon they both ended up on the floor rolling around in greasy food and diet cokes, talk about a disgusting mess. Yet sort of kinky too. I wish they'd gotten a bit more naked before they got all greased up.

The downside was that they knocked my tray with my chalupa feast onto the floor, which sort of ticked me off.

Anyway, onto a different subject……my latest and greatest gal pal went away for a bachelorette party for one of her artsy friends and came back saying she wanted to get her tongue split, claiming it was all the rage amongst the body-art kids. Has anyone does this? Should I be very afraid?

I get the sense you're trying to drive me away. It was the marriage talk, wasn't it?

Nets in 7, eh?

Can a team from the East really challenge the West's dominance?

I say Spurs in 6. If they lose, Pop should fire himself as coach and go back to just being the GM.

Driving me to Drink/Attack the Kayak

I do drink water, but I need caffeine. Water doesn't get it done at 2:00 a.m. in the morning when the partner wants it on his desk at 9:00 a.m. Coffee always tasted bitter to me. If I could get round-the-clock mocha support, then maybe I'd give up the Diet Coke. Considering my firm's secretarial and administrative support, the mocha thing probably will have to wait.

Revisiting the kayak thing...

I'm on the treadmill at the gym tonight when it hits me that I hate kayaking. Not kayaking per se, as I only did that once in Boy Scouting, but activity in general. I know I need to exercise. looking in the mirror, I have noticed a frighteningly doughy resemblance to David Brent from The Office. To change that, I trudge on the treadmill.

I know that I shouldn't expect to be the only one in the gym. Although the cardio room is nearly empty, an older Korean man gets on the treadmill next to me. About 2 minutes in, he starts to moan. Not in a sexual way, but still, this wasn't in the brochure. About 5 minutes in, he decides to take off his shirt. Now I have 20 minutes left of cardio. Robustpuppy expects me to fit into a tuxedo with an 8-inch drop, so I can't just walk away in disgust. All I can do is squick out and think unkind thoughts about all you kayakers.

Jack Manfred is my sock, or I am his

Except for the no exercise part, as I am one of those who genuinely likes doing stuff. For instance I just got back from playing hockey (1G (GWG), 1A, 5-2 victory) at this obscene hour.

I was given a list of a few dozen beverages to choose from for my fridge at work. I haven't changed my rotation yet, six months in:

Caffiene Free Diet Coke
Diet Dr. Pepper
Diet Raspberry Snapple.

At home, I drink the first two of those, as well as Hansen's diet soda, which is made with Splenda and has no carbs, and is quite the treat. But Trader Joe's never has it.

Also, for any of you Atkinsers out there, Carb Safe brand chocolates and chocolate bars are awesome. Better than Atkins bars and every bit as good as La Nouba.

And on another tangent, has anyone seen/heard the Ludacris video/song from 2 Fast 2 Furious? Man I love that guy. Just love him.

Easy. The French, and then Wimbledon in three weeks. Today we have Serena versus Amelie. I don;t know who to root for- I love Amelie. She looks like Bob Weir with a more muscular body. I just wish those two ovas didnt knock out Jennifer and Venus. They are so bland.

Andre is also playing today, but he should have an easy match against Coria who is probably tired. Be sure to turn it on though, bc Coria has the worst non mullet haircut I have ever seen. The bowl.

And Guga is gone. . Has anyone heard he is dating Giselle? Lucky bitch.

Hibiscus Iced Tea q

That is a good poll though, what does everyone tend to drink (non alcoholic.)

I actually rarely buy anything but water. When I am not too lazy I brew a big pitcher of iced tea, but I don't know the last time i bought a two litre bottle of soda, and I pretty much just drink water, I use one of those Brita filter pitchers.
There is this magical elixir I have found at a mexican stand alongt the coast in So cal that is a brew that contains hibiscus amongst other things. It has a special name that I cant think of. Can anyone identtify it and/or tell m where I can buy a similarly deliscious beverage made with hibiscus? Its better than sangria.
