This receiver apparently gave up on a pass over the middle because he was afraid of getting hurt. Kind of like Shifty at ACL, or so I'm told.

Ah, well I would have showed you that in person, had you asked. My love goes unrequited yet again.

Stupid fuckers. I knew that the owners were mean, greedy, selfish sons of bitches, but I figured that they at least cared about the public perception of their position. Now they are about to show themselves as morons, and will kill the season while making the players look like white fucking knights. Did they learn nothing from baseball?
Fringey, was there ass-fucking on that hockey erotica site that you (was it you?) found for La Gwink a few months ago?

People are also up in arms on sports radio about the sexual interpretation (think Aerosmith's "Pink").

Oh my. What happens if a school child sees the cover? Quick. Put them all in burkas.

I really don't know much about this, but why isn't a salary cap fair? The other sports have them. From what I've seen (and I know at least one hockey fan will say I'm an idiot- I admit all I know is by vaguely listen to the news about the Wings) the Wings buy lots of the better players and the smaller cities can't compete. I realize the cap would be to keep an owner or two in check, but that's always been the case in the other sports too. shit, I read that volleyball has ESPN ratings that rival regular season NHL games. Volleyball players aren't pulling 10 million.

Alright, I was going to let rp take all of the heat for not getting this reference at all, but because you people insist on continuing to talk about this, without clearly telling the sheltered what the hell the references are, I'll ask. Assume I've never listened to Aerosmith's "Pink" or heard the phrase "Pinky Stink" and tell me what is so alarming.
[I've been frozen for thousands of years, and your lingo is confusing to me.]
