And I didn't call you fat this time either. I said snyc is fatter than you. But she is fatter than Coltrane as well. And that dude is skinny.

So, you see? It all works out.

you confuse me. I thought it was all about ratio, not absolute size.

The key to dieting isn't cutting out anything. You can't be wistful for any particular kind of food. That's why Weight Watchers works.

I did Weight Watchers a while ago, because I still had baby weight to lose and I wanted to be where I wanted to be when I got my boobs done. I lost just shy of 30 pounds in just over 8 months and have more or less maintained that now for a couple of years.

I eat what I want. I eat a cupcake. I eat a piece of pizza. I eat waffles with dtb and donuts and quacamole.

But I don't eat like that every day and I don't overeat like that, and if I have a cupcake at lunch, I am more likely to pay more attention at dinner.

It's about balance. If you are mindful of your eating, think about what it is that is making you eat, think about whether you really want that [insert trigger food here], and really only splurge on things that will be meaningful to you, you can cut calories fairly easily. Add a 20 minute walk once a day and you're totally going to lose weight.

But better than that, you're going to develop a whole new relationship with food and your body that will really surprise you.

You have to change the way you think. Nothing else will make you lose the weight.
Thank you for your thoughtful post. I appreciate it.

I invented being helpful here, so let me just give you some constructive criticism. Can anyone point to the logical flaw in B&B's advice?

I can see 2.

1. Bn'B is incapable herself of changing the way she thinks, as she continues to reply to ppnyc.

2. Bn'B's post assumes ppnyc is capable of thought.

If I were served a gameboy, I would probably need confirmation that the sauce was for dipping.

I'm amused that you jumped to respond to a charge of illogic by Hank.

I think my older son would truly enjoy that mask.

Excellent photoshopping on the new avatar, by the way. Your wife's best artistic work, although its meaning (if any) eludes me.

Hell, I may go completely nuts and shop at Whole Foods this weekend! I am a Tycoon.

Oh, how I burn under the sting of your angry lash! Please be don't be so mean to me, Mr. Thurgreed.
