Gifts and trinkets don't matter a whit, because I can sense that Paigow and I have made an internet lawyer chatting board-type Love Connection. It took a while, but she finally came around.

I was thinking the very same thing. I think if one were to go to the Friendly's where I toiled away over a hot stove, one might be able to find a photo of me in my thick, polyester checkered dress (they had "group staff photos" on the wall -- but given the turnover, I think the place went to capacity a long time ago, and my group has been rotated out. But you never know...)

Horrifying, however, was the burnout dude (a co-worker) I, uh..., "hung out with" that summer (what the hell was his name?), who would also be featurned in said photo. That might be funny to have another look at him. He's probably worse in my mind's eye than he was in reality (or at least, that's what I tell myself.)
