They are home-schooled. Both parents are Hitler-friendly types. In fact, the dad got permission to use the swastika as his personal steer brand sign (or whatever).

Unlike Paris, who has her own show, has appeared in movies and has an album coming out?

I think that is a loaded question and I think I know which way, but I will be honest, more Mountain Hardwear than Patagonia.

I agree. At least the hurricane victims wouldn't accept their charity. That was the most appalling thing I can remember from the article -- how they wanted to help the hurricane victims - but only the white ones. O.M.G.

Paris is a Nazi?

(Actually, I saw some of a performance on the ABC news report a couple of nights ago. Musically, they are pretty decent for a couple of 13 y.o.s. Lynx (I think it was Lynx) is no Hendrix, but she can play a guitar respectably. For a 13 y.o.

Yeah. I'm more like the babyjesuschristsuperstar with a soul patch and a man-skirt, although I cut my hair back from almost shoulder length not too long ago (hi Slave!).

A co-worker homeschools her kids, and they seem like normal, well-adjusted kids. They socialize with other homeschooled kids in the neighborhood and they do a lot of reading.

She's not super religious or intolerant, and I've never really asked why she went the homeschool route instead of the normal school route. But the kids seem ok.

Double downs and luck differentiate players until the last five hands, when it becomes all about luck, bet amount, and position.
Do you have to play every hand or can you bet everything you have three hands in a row and then sit it out until the next round if you've won?

And if Paris were a "nobody,"* she wouldn't have either of those things and would likewise, need a hook.

Similar in concept to most "Contemporary Christian" musicians -- "somebodies" among a very small segment of the population.

* (And it's a sad commentary on American society that she isn't.)

[not a political commentary, but more a parental lament] Maybe because the public school systems suck and not everyone can affourd private? [/not a political commentary, but more a parental lament]

Yep, it was a loaded question. Patagonias are NFH Repubs. MHs are actual people. You are a demon in human's clothing.

Plus, there's such high quality teaching materials available for free on the web these days.
