How does one become a waxer!?!?! What kind of benjamins do those guys score (in addition to the "fringe" bennies)?

You know what sucks? Finding out that that somewhere down the line I will not walk into a bar he owned in Morocco, and all those unresolved tensions will not bubble to the surface and I won't get to decide whether or not to get on that plane to go back to Paris. Yeah, yeah, the likelihood of that was relatively remote, but it got that much smaller when I found out that he got married.

Leave it to Larry

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,88617,00.html

Spree: MODESTO, Calif. — Larry Flynt, the controversial publisher of Hustler magazine, was recently approached by an agent who claimed to own the rights to about 200 photographs, most of them nude, of the former girlfriend of murder suspect Scott Peterson, Fox News has learned.

Flynt told Fox News he has seen the photos of Amber Frey in person and believes they are authentic. He said he was bidding for the rights to the pictures, which show Frey posing nude as well as "clothed and pregnant."

The unnamed agent has a signed modeling agreement with Frey that gives him ownership of the photos, Flynt said, but the agent also "was evasive" when asked if he currently represented the massage therapist.

The adult content publisher and free-speech advocate told Fox News he hopes to own the photos of Frey within the next couple of days.

Well, I guess I can go out and party tonight bc fucking Yahoo put the results of the Serena- Justine semi in their little news box . Fucking stupid. Hey Yahoo, most poeple dont give a shit and those who do are aware the match was just on and know where to get the info IF THEY WANT IT.
Exactly - they log onto the front page of a newssource like Yahoo! to read about it.

The news does not wait for your VCR. Especially sports.

If you want to pout about the realities of a modern age or stick your head in the sand like some Ostrich, Esq. and pretend that events don't actually happen, go right ahead. But no one is going to sympathise with you.

But wouldn't it be more user friendly if they just had ambiguous links?

Click here for news about Iraq
Click here for news about Serena Williams

It would be like CNN Headline News--check the CNN website for real news, 'cuz you can't get it here.

Seriously, Don't Spoil Sports, Ya Spoilsports

We already agreed to make the FB a spoiler-free zone for sports like the Opens and the Grand Tours that air during the day and must be taped by those of you not lucky enough to telecommute during exciting mountain stages and time trials.

Gee, a woman named Amber has nude pictures floating about. SHOCKING. If ever there was a name that would predestine your doughter to being a ho/bim/stripper/mistress of another woman's man , it is Amber.

What are you, a fucking moron? If they have to show how up to the second they are with sports results, all they have to do is write, Serena results in their little box. Most people dont care about the French anyway, so why is this breaking news worthy of the box? ANd it aint on the VCR, its on ESPN or ESPN 2 which means that I am probably not the only one who was planning on watching it, preferably unspoiled.

Exactly. I went to the Yahoo homepage for my email not for the fucking French restuls. If the ridiculous local news can put a teasre like, will it ever stop raining in Washington DC? Find out after the break, then I think Yahoo can handle the teaser. Hell, put in an annoying ad to read in the middle like the tv news stations.

Since my pet peeve is stupid commuter oxen taking up the entire sidewalk, walking at the speed of a rotted zombie, getting the hell in my way when I have places to go, I think I deserve some slack. Plus, I don't use umbrellas. I wear Gore-Tex. But I reserve the right to pop a parasol on a leisurely stroll outside of peak commuting hours goddammit to protect my burning skin.

Keep giving me crap about it, and I'll start a campaign to bring back 6-foot-wide hoopskirts too.

Well, one solution would be to go to mail.yahoo.com instead of my.yahoo.com.

But, yes, WTF with those weather teasers? And it's not after the break. It's after three breaks, two stories on a cat caught in a tree and an expose on spring breaks and girls-gone-wild.

But perish the thought of annoying ads in the middle of internet pages. Been to the post's website of late? It's like Salon--you have to sit through a 15 second jingle of some sort, trying to find the "close" box on the page.

Oh fucking A - we did no such thing.

You'll next me telling me we need a spoiler space to say "WE WON THE WAR" for benefit of those artsy types that don't have a television and are waiting to read about it in the Utne Reader.
