I've been to Gary Danko's and it doesn't cost over $500 unless you buy the $350 bottle of wine (or you are talking about dinner for 4). The prix fix menu is 3 courses for $55 up to 5 courses at $75 per person.

Please don't be jealous just b/c I don't love you for your vapid, overblown moralistic speeches that miss the point entirely. There's only room in my heart for one of you at a time.

christ, for someone who is always saying that nobody gets his sense of humor, I have rarely seen you give anybody else credit for perhaps having a sense of humor. And if nobody thinks that you are joking, do you think it's them or do you think maybe it's your "humor" that's to blame?

TGIF, only two more days left in the work week

Socks: I am ignoring the Not socks, including but not limited to the anti-penske ones, other than to say:

Fuck all y'all, I spit on your graves and then I grab my charles Dickens!

Watches: I want a Panerai Luminor. I also want to die broke or better yet, in debt.

There it is then.

edited to add: hi PLF!

Well, if I missed your humor in there, I apologize, but I went back and reread it, and still don't see it.

Not much of a tipper, are you?

2 seven course prix fixes, a glass of champagne each (since it's by definition a champagne-worthy occasion), a nice Bordeaux in the $200-250 range, possibly some port, coffee, a decent tip, it's over $500.

Intense alcohol, food, and romance inspired sex afterwards, priceless.

Well then we have something in common, huh? Nobody understands our senses of humor. We must be soulmates.

Intense alcohol [and] food..............priceless.

I want to dine with you. Platonically, of course. NTTAWWT.

Is this a veiled reference to a threesome?

We've discussed this before, but after seven courses, I'm unlikely to be having great sex that night. Now, morning after is a whole different question. How do people do that? Or is it seven itty bitty portions?

Who could have sex after eating and drinking all that? I got the 3 course prix fix with a pre-dinner glass of champagne and split a bottle of wine and had an after dinner liquor and was so full, they had to roll me out of there. Literally. I slipped on their damn slippery floor. What a stupid flooring to have for a restaurant in which women are highly likely to be wearing heels. If only I had gotten injured, I would own the place.

But nonetheless, even if I hadn't slipped, I couldn't have fucked anyone after all that food and drink.

FYI - if you wear a low cut top exposing much boobage, you will be a hit with the male waiters at Gary Danko's. Surprised the heck out of me since I just assumed that they would all be gay.

The portions range from itty-bitty to good-sized. The key is taking lots of time to savor the meal, and drinking lots of water.
