I'm sure they'd give it to you if you asked, but it probably smells like dead fish.

I've never seen Beautiful Girls.
But the best movie ever is Night of the Hunter. Diner probably makes the top 10, but not the top 5. Unless I've been drinking. Being There - no.

I find myself encouraging someone to go for the 13 year old when I watch this movie.

Gloating
I absolutely love it when artist friends make it.
A friend of mine, a kid I used to tease about spilling all when it came time for them to film his VH1 Behind the Music, just sold out of the first run of his first comic book. Image is printing new copies that will be out in October.
Yay Jamie!

Beautiful Girls is up there for me too. As is Garden State. I like the Natalie Portman quirky girl-next-door roles a lot, apparently.
I'm trying to determine whether I have a crush on Zach Braff. I've never seen Scrubs, but Garden State is like my favorite movie in the last decade. I guess I'll have to go see The Last Kiss and figure it out.

Who? The young Hank Chinaski?* He's too busy cheating on his wife with Lauren Holly.
As for the movie, Ooooooooooooooma. Yum.
*Matt Dillon is playing Hank as a young man in a soon-to-be-relased Major Motion Picture.

This is your best post ever. The mention of Swedish fish brought back very pleasant memories of the candy department at Sears, which was AWESOME. Bins and bins of nonpareils and swedish fish and licorice and bridge mix and malt balls ... it smelled like heaven.

A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
Just a word of concern for my fellow posters. In the course of your daily jobbery it is easy to get caught up in the hustle and flow of the work-a-day pace, but, please, for the sake of your health and the children, please, please, please, do not forget to eat lunch.
It does a body (and mind) good.
Thanks. I love you all.

I have sold out. I've accepted an endorsement deal with the owner of the Chocolate Bar and Candylicious here in Houston.
I will do my best not let corporate money taint my sport, but it will be hard to Race for the Cure on Saturday with all of the associated distractions of corporate sponsorship.
