on the other hand, one main function of an anon place like this is we share true inner fears, hopes and demons. We can get to know what other people are truly like, even if those revelations show blackened hearts.
I guess what I"m trying to say is since you admit you truly do hate homosexuals, you shouldn't hide your demons. It does us all good to see such bias manifest itself. It may be painful, but we are all wiser seeing just how much work there still remains to do.

I know you are, but what am I?

Well, thank goodness they didn't waste that draft pick on Reggie Bush but instead concentrated on defense. . .

The Lions are now the worst NFL team. Which I guess means we have a chance at ruining another 1st round QB's career (Troy Smith- you think you've overcome challenges so far?). But that's next year. We still have more fun this year.
Next up? The last QB we threw away is starting and winning in Miami AND he comes into Detroit for Thanksgiving. If Joey whips their asses it will be a higher level of fuck up than even they have achieved for the past several years.
Oh, and one great thing about Tivo is you can freeze the screen and see the open receivers not seen by your "savior" QB when he throws his interceptions into double coverage.

Wait. I actually really hate fags. Does that make a difference?
I couldn't resist. That's the last time I use it.

I believe that the NFL should be split into an "A" and a "B" division with the B teams getting less TV $ and being forced to charge less $ for tickets. And don't put those fuckers on TV. Who the fuck wants to watch Detroit versus anyone on Thanksgiving. Unless they want to play Detroit against Ohio State or St. Catherine's School for the Blind.
Perennial suck-ass teams stay there and don't move up unless they win.
However the soccer fuckers do it.

I'm waiting to see if people step up the next time you slur Italians, or when someone calls someone else fat. Remember it's not just homosexuals who have feelings.
And when Thurgreed calls PPNYC stupid, don't you think others, like say GGG, are hurt?

Relegate Detroit to the CFL. You know it makes sense.

Wire semi-spoiler from last night.
It's hard watching one of your friends get beat to death, even if it's pretend. Good lord. I almost called him to see if he was ok.
It was a small part, but I still thought he did a good job and he's no small actor.

Male Bonding
The Wonk Monster and I took in Casino Royale this weekend. I'm ready to see it again. It's the best Bond flick since Goldfinger. Craig is an excellent Bond, and the plot relies more on good old fashined guns and hand-to-hand combat than any Bond film since Dr. No.
I was trying to figure out why I was instinctively accepting of Craig as Bond and it came to me this morning. He looks a lot like Steve McQueen. If there were ever an American actor who could play Bond and pull it off, it was McQueen.
I think when I finish work tonight, I'll go celebrate with a vesper.
