This is probably outable, since I can't imagine that there were many other teachers that did this, but Mr. Cullinan made us memorize 16 comma rules and 4 semicolon rules in ninth grade. We had to recite them orally on command throughout the year, and we were tested on them weekly.

Ah, crap. I may need to go back to the Multiplicity approach (a/k/a, ignore this, will you?).

It depends. Do you make him pay for the blow jobs in the bathroom after you've had a few?

The only one that probably had two correct answers was the one about "Of course there were no tickets left." (Then again, seeing as how it didn't end with an exclamation mark, the comma was the way to go -- which is the way I went, natch -- but I wonder if you'd get a correct answer with "no comma".)
|
Nope. That was the one I got wrong. I dissent.

You are a retard. There is a little "send PM" button on every post I make. Additionaly, you can click the little "Members" button at the top of the page, hit "M" and then scroll. Pretty simple, huh?
Just for your pure stupidity, I will not resize your picture for another week.

Hmmmm?).

God, I love it when you talk this way.
Which raises an interesting (to me, anyway) semi-philosophical question. I am not a timmy. Yet I like timmy chicks (or should that be "chick timmies"?). Why is that?
For example, I used to work with one, and would delight in tweaking her by using non-words like "irregardless," or using big words incorrectly. It always amused her, and she had a great laugh, so it was fun to do. She had the penultimate of laughs, in fact. (ha! I kill me!)
Male timmies, for whatever reason, don't seem as endearing. NTTAWWT. But, seriously, men seem to have less of a sense of humor about their timmyness, and you can't kid them about it.

1. Rather than put up with the clutter, many people just ignore socks, whether they are of a persistent or one-off variety.
2. The higher your user number, the more likely you are being ignored (xenophobia? or, are the only new users socks?). Likewise, the lower your user number, the less likely you are being ignored.
3. That being said, if you are a regular poster and think you couldn't possibly be on someone else's ignore list, you are wrong.
4. Somehow each of the original admins managed to make it onto someone's ignore list. Those entries are going to be manually deleted in accordance with our FAQs/TOS. Also, we are disabling the ability to add admins to your ignore list. It was supposed to have been disabled, but someone got enabled. A side effect is that you won't be able to add moderators to your list. However, if you want a particular moderator added to your ignore list, PM me and I can manually add it into the database.

The policy was changed by leagl by popular demand. Some admins are unreadable.

Hey, I have an idea, why don't you make a special "admin" log-in that is used to perform administrative functions. A special "mod" log-in could be used for the same purpose. Then admins and mods can post important administrative stuff using that login, and any b/s that the posters who happen to be admins and mods post in their capacity as just another poster can be ignored.
Just a suggestion.

There are four semicolon rules? I don't think I know any; I just throw them in when necessary.

Sometimes, in one of the spin classes I attend, the teacher plays this song (really loud of course) and makes us do a standing sprint through the whole song, and at first I start thinking of those stupid ass cruise commercials where they play this song, but then sometimes the teacher, who I must say has quite a nice body, gets off the bike and starts dancing around in front of us, and I think the combination of her dancing around in front of me and the fact that I am going completely anaerobic starts doing weird things to my mind, and I am pretty certain that one of these times, as the song is reaching its climax, I am going to spread peanut butter across my chest, cut myself open with broken glass, jump off the stationary spinning bicycle, and start writhing around manically on the floor in front of the teacher.
That will be a good day.
