Good on her, then. I just know how I would feel, and I wouldn't like it (I don't think; and God willing, I won't ever find out how I would actually feel in such a situation). Clearly, it's not an outrageous view, as the photographer was concerned about it. Or maybe he [the photographer] and I are the only two loonies on the planet.

No, apparently the Pulitzer Prize committee felt the same way. They were so outraged and offended by the photographer Charles Porter IV's picture that they awared him a Pulitzer Prize in 1996. I bet he wishes some of the leftist numskulls at this board were on that committee so he wouldn't have had to be shamed and derided publicly for his offensive photo like that.
Speaking of Pulitzer Prize winning photos, here's another:
Sidd, is this torture? Humiliation?

Could it be that even conservatives are too liberal for conservatives?
FAIR and NPR play a high stakes game of "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me . . . Your Sources Suck." {FAIR study shows NPR favors Republican sources over Democrats by more than 3 to 2.}
Of course, if the extra Republican is always John McCain, I am 100% in favor of that, fairness be damned.

Child kidnapping. I cannot wait until a 16 year old Elian washes up on the shores of Miami and kisses the beach sand.

Ah. G.O. That explains the look of relief on his face. Thanks for pointing that out, without the help of a typical leftist loonie who can fabricate a moral relativity between CinC George W. Bush and bin Laden, I would not have been able to figure that one out.

That does it; I'm in love.
Wonkette roundup (okay, plagiarism):
- An Iraq exit strategy from George Saunders: "At the moment of the death of the last person who wanted to kill us, race quickly out of the country before some additional person suddenly decides he/she wants to kill us." [Slate]
- One Nader campaign coordinator knows where to find registered voters willing to put their names on a Nader petition: "Truck pulls. . . People think they're doing George Bush a favor if they sign these. I've had some of my best luck at truck pulls." [Time]
- "Tom Clancy 'almost came to blows' with neocon hawk Richard Perle over Clancy's lack of support for the Iraq war. I've always respected Clancy as a guy who sticks up for what he believes in, but that's inexcusable behavior and I think Clancy has some explaining to do. . . Why 'almost'?" [Washington Monthly]
- "In a recent Entertainment Weekly symposium on Christians in Hollywood (let's let those four incongruent terms settle in: Christians, Hollywood, Entertainment Weekly, symposium) the creator of the Christian Veggie Tales grouses that the evangelical community doesn't hold Gibson to the same standards of historical accuracy: 'I know what kind of letters we get when we portray a prophet like Daniel as a cucumber.'" [Weekly Standard]

Shiite radical promises to remove fighters from Najaf after arrest of key lieutenant,
- NAJAF, Iraq (AP) Radical cleric Muqtada al-Sadr agreed Wednesday to withdraw his militia from Najaf and hand the city back to Iraqi police, the government said, raising hopes for an end to weeks of fighting that threatened some of Shia Islam's holiest sites.
The announcement by National Security Adviser Mouwafak al-Rubaie took place after U.S. troops arrested al-Sadr's key lieutenant in a pre-dawn raid. Clashes late Tuesday and early Wednesday between U.S. troops and militia fighters killed 24 people and wounded nearly 50 here, hospital and militia officials said.
There was no confirmation by al-Sadr. However, an agreement to abandon Najaf would be a major step toward ending his uprising in the south only weeks before a new Iraqi government takes power June 30, formally ending the U.S.-led occupation.
Al-Sadr said he is making this offer because of ''the tragic condition'' in Najaf after weeks of fighting between his militiamen and the Americans and the slight damage suffered by the city's holiest shrine, the Imam Ali mosque.
Fighting around some of the holiest cities of Shia Islam has angered many Shiites in Iraq and elsewhere and has led to calls for both the Americans and the militiamen to pull back from the shrines.

72 Virgins for an infidel?
BREAKING NEWS:
Future death penalty recipient and Iraqi/al Qaeda operative Terry Nichol was found guilty 161 counts of murder.
Even though I get some satisfication that this scumsucker will soon join his comrade Mcvey in hell, I was hoping that this trial might fully vett the facts related to the Iraqi-alQaeda axis that sponsored this horrific act. Of course torture or humiliation might have wrangled it out of em but the liberals don’t allow such horrific behavior, unless they are engaging in attempts to humiliate President Bush or the red, white and blue for which he stands.
Of course, these two hicks received direction and money from the Islamics. Nichols meetings with Iraqi agent and Friend of al Qaeda Ramzi Yousef in the Phillipines are enough to evidence that, but of course without some serious “coercion” that ain’t gonna reveal anything. At this point, Nichols ain’t willing to admit that rather than being a freedom fighting patriot who hated an illegitimate government that instead he and McVey were just a couple of rubes who got played like two-humped camels by the radical Islamofacists.

I posted this piece in its entirety here a few days ago, but it was universally found to be unfunny. Maybe the font was the problem.

What a beautiful sentiment NM. Until that day comes I remember Elian in my prayers daily and ask the lord that someday soon that his mother's wish for his freedom that she gave her life for comes true. Of course most of the limousine liberals in the elite ruling class of the Democrat party scorn such sacrifices and in the process urinate on the legacy of their forefathers.
On the positive side however, this willfullly blissful ignorance and brutal child abuse had a silver lining. It invigorated the Cuban-American expatriates in South Florida to go the polls in November '02, without which we would now be speaking arabic in follow up to President gore's surrender to al Qaeda on September 12, 2001.
The amazing thing is that the liberal inteligentsia deride Ashcroft as the devil while maintaining praise and adulation for Reno, a woman (I'm assuming she did not have penis althoug......) so devoid of an IQ that she rubber stamped an idiot assistant's misguided plan to erect a wall between the FBI and CIA's sharing of intelligence on foreign terrorists thus leading directly to 911.
And her alibi for that stupidity was that she was too preoccupied killing innocents in Waco and kidnapping Elian.
Of course we all know who 's responsible for her tenure as AG and the mongoloids in NY rewarded her with a senate seat.

I thought it was funny.
However, unlike, say Paigow, I didn't realize you needed a compliment any time you posted something remotely clever.
