Remember that Penske is sending his kids to a school run by liberals. Not that he had much choice, given where he lives. It's the only way they'll get to hear the "other" side of things.

Except that Skipper and Gilligan were clearly lovers.

1) I was waiting for a car full of elderly people to come get me, and I was stuffed on Cornbread and Pie and coudln't bear to stand in the 120 degrees. Old folks take FOREVER to move.
2) See 1. ALso, there were no benches and the sidewalk was preternaturally clean.
3) I ate at Marie Callenders. Bc I was visiting old people and they liked that place. They were nto the elder Paigows. Someone else's old people.
3.5) Being my first trip to the desert, in August, I did not realize a sidewalk could be so hot as to burn your ass. I didnt think frying eggs on a sidewalk was a literal expression. Because I am fron the Northeast.
Does that clear things up?

FWIW, I am fairly certain that their current school is well grounded on socialist beliefs. In the best sense of that phrase, social equity and justice blah blah blah.
