I suppose it depends on the school. Michigan seems kind of overrated.
OTOH, if the robot monkey really is wielding a death ray, I'm not arguing with him.

Duke fans? Wow. Probably the biggest group of dorks. Ever. Complete fucking tools. I've never met a Duke fan that wasn't an annoying little piece of mouse shit.

Package deal, just like with Yankees, Cowboys and Bosox fans.

I disagree. I liked the 2004 Red Sox as a team. I can't stand Red Sox fans. Yankees fans actually aren't that bad...but the Yankees essence angers me.
Nevertheless, complete indifference pisses people off more than hate.

Could you throw Notre Dame fans on that list? I have a co-worker who is both a Notre Dame fan and a Minnesota Vikings fan. I don't go anywhere near him when either of those teams is playing. I'd hate to have to kill him. I mean, other than those unfortunate allegiances, he seems like a nice enough guy.

Good thing no one here went to Georgetown. They might have to run home and cry themselves to sleep on their giant pillahs.

No offense, but the main reason people might think you have some good opinions is because RT likes you- but that doesn't point to being well-educated or knowing about colleges. Her last boyfriend was a cement worker, as an example.

Speaking of robot monkeys and such, I think of monkeys when I see the newest username "tappanzee."
In the alternative, I think of the question, "Tappanzee what?"

Anyone want to hear my opinion on private Texas schools with perennially good baseball teams?

Georgetown had some good teams and ran a good program (when they could use TV to recruit). And Iverson back then was the quickest human being I've ever seen live. Bar none.
Hell, I don't understand why anyone would dislike Georgetown. Underachievers. They should have (arguably) won two more championships than they did.*
TM
*Although, looking back, I never understand why people think Georgetown should have been favored against UNC in '82. Think of the players on those two teams.

I see the sentences on the page and yet they make no sense to me. Damn my crap-ass Jesuit education! Father Drinan, why have you foresaken me?!?
Best college game I ever watched (live) -- Iverson/G'Town vs. Allen/CT. They both had command of their teams and the court. Was like a one-on-one matchup. Iverson was better in college in terms of controlling the tempo and style of the game, I thought, but I might be biased.
Second best college match-up I've ever seen (live) -- Van Horn/Utes and Duncan/Wake.
And yes, Duke can suck it.

To be fair, it was very shortly before my 14th B-Day. My love for college B-ball and my loathing of Bobby Knight are in my blood. I was born and U of Michigan a couple of hours before they lost the championship to Indiana. The Dr. and my parents were all grateful for my timing as they could throw me in the corner and watch the game.
The fact that I Saw the Sign was my theme song didn't tip you off?
