For a very selfish reason, and aside from the whole "why do people have to be such assholes" issue, this whole thing pisses me off because once again it will compromise my ability to enjoy something entertaining. I am often unable to separate the character from the actor -- like now I don't enjoy Braveheart or Road Warrior anymore because Mel Gibson is so fucking loony. And now I won't be able to enjoy Seinfeld. And of course I can't enjoy Days of Thunder any more because Tom Cruise is such a fucking nutcase.
I'm kidding about Days of Thunder.
I guess the only one I am able to get past and enjoy the art/entertainment is Wagner. Despicable as a person, but I'm still able to forget that and enjoy the opera. |

Every time that piece of shit movie was on the cable channel guide I would stop on it just to see how close we were to that scene. As a result, I have seen 10-15 minutes of that movie about nine times.
