Mr. Man sponsored drinks for all FBers at the festival by the way (only disclaimer is you have to hang for a nominal amount of time). Please note NCS cannot guarantee the Radiohead backstage for anyone other than FBers with male gender names. So sorry.
 | Is that "sponsored" or "will sponsor"? Because if it's "will sponsor" I would definitely seriously consider flying halfway across the country for the novel experience of being bought a drink by someone who is so manly/studly that his moniker is a double assertion of masculinity. Then I will likely pass out from the combo of alcohol and testosterone. |

Prince and BeyoncePurple Rain came out 20 years ago? I'm old.
Beyonce wears that outfit to do a duet with Prince and he doesn't lay a hand on her? He's old.
Prince circa 1994 would have been all over her.

 | Any of the Minnesota people know anyone who had Prince come to their door for the Jehovah thing? Any newspaper first person accounts? Does he seem sincere? Does his preaching partner seem intimidated?

Not that anyone listens to her anyway - but I'm personally getting sick of reading the shit.
 | Yeh, but I agree with her on the "white people shall not use 'bling'" thing. We have these young white chicks in the office who try to sound ghetto, some going as far as to say "aks" instead of "ask." It sounds ridiculous. Wonk's right - if you aren't ghetto, don't go there.

My guess is Gleek. The list was messed up. No way Grape Ape ranks lower than Magilla Gorilla. I demand a recount. |

Men opposing pants seek to wear skirts
	Quote:

		| About 100 men in minis, midis and even tutus took to New York City streets to call for an end to the tyranny of trousers.
"We're not transvestites, homosexuals or cross-dressers," David Johnson told the New York Times for Sunday editions. "We're men. Men who want the right to wear a skirt."

Johnson, a retired teacher from Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and the other pants opposers walked several blocks from the Guggenheim Museum to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where they visited an exhibit called "Bravehearts: Men in Skirts."

I really thought they would have waited until spring to hold this protest. Who cares about getting the right to wear skirts when it is below freezing anyway? Women don't even want the right to wear them then. |

				POLL

So, I went to see Something's Got to Give the other day. Not a good movie. They should have called it Something's Got to End because it was way too long. It was like the writer had a halfway decent idea for a movie but then didn't know what the hell to do with it. A romantic comedy that lasts two and a quarter hours? I don't think so. There were some amusing parts, but overall, it was crap.
And I haven't seen Cold Mountain, but I've seen the preview. In it, there is a shot of Renée Zellweger crouching over someone who has been wounded. She's saying, "Don't you die on me!" which leads me to believe that the movie is a complete waste of time.

So, here's a poll. What is the most cliched or trite movie line you can think of?

Hearing "Don't you die on me. Don't you dare die on me!" makes me physically ill, so I'll go with that.
