Shithead.
You should have ordered a vesper. Then, when he didn't know what you were talking about, you should have shot him.

My brother likes to fuck with bartenders by ordering a Negroni. Not that many know what the hell he's talking about and think it's a brand name.

I'm not into "now" of the moment drinks, but I'm so out of it...what is the "now" drink?

Antifreeze. Which is what I would have recommended.

But of course!

(Seriously, though. It was on the menu - and not a long menu at that.)

I've been ordering Lillet for years (I can never think of good drinks to order, and I don't like beer much). Now everyone is going to think I'm trying to be like James Bond. As if.

Which reminds me - today when on a quest for corduroy pants, I bought a new brand, because the brand I usually buy in corduroy (is that spelled right?) that the store carried were all very straight legged in the calf, which I don't like. So anyway, the salesgirl brings me this unknown (to me) brand, and THEY ARE PERFECT. The brand name is James. I have never heard of this brand, so I'm pretty sure the fact that I have this unknown brand of pants makes me cool now.

Prediction:

It was the (1) coke; (2) booze; (3) antidepressants; or (4) all of the above.

I didn't know he had Daniel Carver's number on speed dial.

WTF?

I've loved the Lillet for a long time, too. Fortunately, where I live is a good 5-10 years behind the trendy curve, so I should be able to milk the coolness here a bit longer.

Have heard of the brand; do not own. Not straight in the calf? Did you go for tapered, then? If so, nevermind because I cannot wear those.

Most hated current look: ankle/above ankle boots with above-knee skirts (any skirts, really). I keep trying to open my mind to it, but I just hate it.

I have James jeans. I'm pretty sure I had them with me whilst we were playing at Thelma and Louise. I'm pretty sure that makes them not cool.

But I agree on their perfectosity.
