Yeah, but you can get kidnapped at Burning Man and the airfare is a lot cheaper. Plus, Burning Man is being sponsored by Mountain Dew this year and the organizers are going to be giving away a limited number of iPhones!

Oh, my God, like 3 posts and it's already gone meta. Awesome. I can't believe I've stayed away so long.
Ps - not to worry - I just got my private invite to the alternative Mali music fest. I'll put in a word for you if you don't spread it around.

Earlier this week, I expressed enthusiam for RT's proposed trip to Mali to go to the Festival in the Desert, a music festival way the hell out in the Sahara featuring an intriguing mix North African and other music. Unfortunately, I was reading National Geographic Adventure this week, and the Festival was listed among the 8 Things You Are Requirted To Do In Africa, or some such nonsense. I am hereby withdrawing my endorsement of this event. A few years ago, it would have been very cool. By the time it is again held next January, it will be sponsored by Red Bull, have a skateboard vert competition, and there will be a Toyota Scion Trance Tent featuring Paul Oakenfold and Tiesto.

Requirted. I have nothing to ass.

Schaeffer is the one beer to have, when you're having more than one.

In related news, the Dew Drop Inn, after a 30 year hiatus, resumed selling cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon.

I'm more worried about rogue clowns than kidnappers, but I suppose your point stands. It was a bitch getting the art car approved to roll this year.

Uncle Kracker
Uncle Kracker was arrested on a second-degree forcible sex offense charge in North Carolina early Friday morning, TMZ.com reports.
Raleigh police arrested Kracker (real name: Matthew Shafer), 33, at an Embassy Suites hotel at around 4:45 a.m., says the site. A police spokesman said the alleged incident took place at the Ess Lounge, a downtown nightclub.
So a guy named Uncle Kracker just doesn't get unsolicited fellatio whenever?

Some people can rock the crop. I don't think Mena Suvari pulls it off. From the neck up she looks Harry Potter with a bleach.

Which is odd, considering she's got an eighthead above her eyes.
Three thumbs down. Shouldn't have had a career. Couldn't stand her in any movie.

Then. Uh, welcome Newber! In the interest of passing along constructive criticism, I should probably note that I hate both your screen name and avatar. Keep up the good work!

It's refreshing, not sweet/it's the extra dry treat.
