habeas corpus, the sequel

Am i the only one who finds it ironic that Elian was kidnapped and sentenced to a living death under the yoke of communism on the weekend in the 2000th year of our lord that was the anniversary of the murder of our lord's only son and our saviour, Jesus!?!?!

And now, 5 years later, on our holiest of weeks, florida again provides the backdrop for the evil liberals to celebrate the culture of death they trumpet. this is beyond coincidence and perhaps a sign of the apocalypse.

Hopefully when Jeb sends in the Florida national guard to liberate Terri their training will prove up to the task. In the meantime I will light two candles at tomorrow's Holy Tuesday ceremony and pray that this is not Terri's last week amongst us (much as Holy Week of 2000 was Elian's last week amongst the free) and think of the gospels of Jesus and his trials during the end of his life on earth.

The week he came another man died,
Lazarus was his name.
"Come out of your grave,"
Jesus cried,
and out of his grave he came.

Thank you, God of Life;
you want me to live, not die.

That week there was another man,
a man who could not see.
Jesus rubbed his eyes and said,
"Believe and you will see."

And believing,
the man could see.
Thank you, God of Light,
for giving light to me.

Jesus taught in the temple that week,
the week he was to die.
You'd think he'd be liked
for all that he did.
But some said, "No!"
"He's trouble!" they cried.
So they wanted him to die.

Right on Chad! Certainly if the AG can kidnap an innocent child in Florida and sentence him to death in Red Cuba, Governor Jeb can find a way to use his troops to rescue a lady from murder! I pray the Bush family perserveres in this battle.

And for the nays in Congress and the other supporters of state sanctioned killing I recall the words of Matthew at 25:40-42:

"And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.' Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink'."

Prophetic.

Although that's a more reasonable basis for some sort of federal jurisdiction.

Jesus was executed by the Romans somewhere around 30 AD. I think you are referring to his birth, which was probably around 3 BC. The 2000th annivesary of Jesus's death will be around 2030. BTW: Jesus was not born in December, he was born sometime in the spring, but the Roman Empire under Constantine put the holiday near the pagan holiday of the Solcitice so it would be a holiday the pagans were used to. Jesus was not executed in the Spring, again the holidy was put near the Spring equinox so the Pagans would also celebrate during the same holiday. I find it interesting that someone who seems to place a lot of value on the life and death of Jesus would know so little about these events.

I thought most scholars placed Jesus' death in April, 30 AD, based on the timing of Pesach that year and references to the last supper as a seder.

Well said brother, it is joyful to see a fellow believer posting the word here. For clarifying purposes, the reference to the 2000th year of our lord, was synonymous with 2000 A.D., the year in which the young Elian was kidnapped by the jackbooted Reno. The reference to anniversary of death meant easter weekend, as my bible studies place Jesus' death in April, 30 AD, based on the timing of Pesach that year and references to the last supper as a seder. I just pray that Terri can last long enough for Jeb to get the troops to her given that another liberal puke (a Clinton appointee) has hoisted the flag of the culture of death over her bed.

PTL!

Haha. Is this someone's Easter sock?

That is right my red headed special short bus riding stepbrother. Screw the law, screw the judicial process, lets storm the hospice and rescue the poor woman from her own choice to die. Long live the church state. That is all. Amen.

Mock away jerky boy. Obviously the ongoing liberal judge sanctioned murder of Terri Schiavo is a celebration of death and oppression by the elitist liberal ruling class. Terri is just the latest poster child that these ideological cretins use to celebrate an amoral philosophy of degeneracy and sadly that same amorality is trumpeted by the liberal mainstream media such that the sheeple of TVLand in the cultural wastelands of urban America will ignore the murder of the innocent because they are inured to it, much as the rank and file peasants of ancient Rome cheered the public deaths of thousands and German nation accompliced with Nazis to the slaughter of millions Jews. As for me, and other patriots, we refuse to stand down in the face of state sanctioned murder and oppression of the innocent and weakest amongst us, like the children of WACO or Elian or Terri. Pray.

Can Whittemore be impeached?

Impeachment? Excellent question, yes, Judge Whittmore can be impeached.

Judges should base their rulings on religious propaganda NOT the law. Now please take your purple crayola protest sign and catch the short bus back to Waco.

Not to take a side, but really how is anything she "said" to people admissible. It is just hearsay, right? Does it fit some Fla/ brain dead exception?
