My costume this year is father of a box of Junior Mints. Mrs. Str8 is going as mother of a box of Junior Mints.
Not a picture of my son, but of his costume:

That is an adorable costume.

Maybe, but factor in the advertisement to co-sign loans for your lovers and the stats might be somewhat tarnished. nttawwt.

advertisement? this doesn't even make sense (and I gave you several minutes to go back and revise it until it did). if anything, my apparent willingness to co-sign loans taken out for the pursuit of lifelong dreams would seem like another check in the "This Chick Rocks" column.

It certainly offsets (some of) the negatives, if any. What is your credit limit?

seems to me, though, that if you're going as a candy family, this would be better:
Your wife could go with some of her merchandise.

Also, another idea for the family is going as the Aristocrats.

So you're claiming the flyer with your phone number on tear strips hanging on the men's room stall was unsolicited?

Congratulations Coltrane. Your team was clearly superior. It was fun, though.

This is probably a question to Houstonians. Why was this such a big deal, anyway? I mean, I realize that the Astros had a much better record at home with the roof closed (presumably because of crowd noise, etc.) but for those that have attended games, would closing the roof for those games held in Houston been consistent with the weather conditions when the roof was closed during the regular season?
I mean, I understand wanting to give your team every advantage that comes with the home field, but would that have cheapened it for you at all had the Astros won because the roof was closed -- (by either a loss of a ball against the roof/lights, or an error by the other team due to the amplified crowd noise, or any other possible unique-to-a dome reasons?) Or am I all wet, and a win is a win is a win?
And speaking of Houston -- Sheryl Swoopes comes out as a lesbian. Color me shocked -- (Not really).

I've no clue. It could be she is only "alive" in a Colonel Sanders sense.
