Its not a BJ rule so much as a ticket to a very unique bragging right. Imagine it - "Yeh, there I was, kinda tipsy, and Powell just leans over and... next thing you know..."

There may also be some Secretaries of State where you want to pass.

Well, a Bush daughter sandwich does trump a Michael Powell blow job... but it doesn't quite have a the same "exotic" factor.
I mean, like Hank said, he's half Samoan.

hmm... How about George P. Bush? I believe he is one of several "brown grandchildren." And he is kinda hot, for a Republican.

Just Hopping Through-Why Gay Men Shouldn't Adopt
So, I'm at a destination wedding in the Virgin Islands last week when I observe the following.
Best man is one half of a gay married couple.
These men adopted a pair of twins. I think they're 1 1/2. THey've had them for a month.
I'm down with that, talking to them about parenting and all and life in Minnesota (where they were from). The twins are both super cute and their gay daddies definitely know how to dress them. I play with the twins a bit.
That night a i see both of them out having drinks and socializing (this is the Ritz in St. Thom; it's a huge compound; all the buildings are a ways apart and the rooms are all spread out in little two storey buildings). I notice the twins are not there. I inquire about the twins and get a response something like this
"oh, they're sleeping in the room. We go back about once an hour [to our hotel room a tenth of a mile or more away] and check on them." Me: "so, there's like NO ONE with them." Response: "yeah, they're fine. THey're sleeping." I also discover somewhere in the conversation that they were abused/neglected and that's why they were in teh foster/adoption system...one of them has developmental disabilities.
This happens for several nights.
Someone needs to give these boys some parenting classes. This sounds like something a stupid dad does in a movie or Lester would do if he ever accidentally knocked up a woman. I'm sure this was the exception for adoptive parents, but this just smacked of "I didn't carry these things in my womb but I once had a cat, so I should be a great parent. I loved to play with dolls when I was little."
End of Story TIme

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

While this sucks (add it to the list!), I don't think child neglect is limited to gay parents.
I would have led them right back to the room and given them a good talking to. My wife probably would have .... well, let's just say she'd limit their reproductive options on the spot.

Any chance they had a baby sitter and were just screwing with you?
Did they have a monitor?
Kids who can't walk can't really get hurt in a crib, and 1/10 of a mile isn't very far.

Speaking of which, in a proud, proud day for the English language, "crack ho" has made it into either the Oxford or Webster's Dictionary. I heard it on the radio this morning and didn't catch which of the big two committed this temporal linguistic sin.

They can probably walk at 1 1/2, but I agree with the sentiment here. The kids were probably in one of those portable playpen thingies and I don't think it constitutes neglect. They were checking on them regularly. How is it any different from putting them to bed upstairs and then going back downstairs to watch tv?

Not just to gay couples, apparently it is applicable to all couples who have not experiened the wonder of bearing fruit from their loins. Damn adopters - thinking they know everything just because they had pets or dolls!
