Excellent news.

It's because lawyer salaries are obscene, so the Man isn't going to give you anything for free.

This post brought to you by Hank's logic.
yes there is an explanation, we have removed the impact of natural selection by banning peanuts from schools.

Because they re-did pricing tiers on your prescription drug plan. That $180 a year extra really puts the hurt on you. I am sure that this pricing change will not cause you to call your employee benefits rep, scream at them to the extent that they go pale and shake and possibly cry, prompting me to tell the poor rep that I will call you back, and then really expect that if you argue with me about it enough, somehow we will lower the copay on Zyrtec to $35. Or just send you $15. Or whatever. Because it's now $50, and while I understand that you don't like paying $15 more a month, the plan is what the plan is.

All my prescription drugs except Sonata are now generic. Yay! That means I over-contributed to my FSA. Boo.

I'm not really a bitch about it generally. And people who get bumped up to me or another VP generally feel like they are really special, so they are all nice and shit instead of screaming.

ETA and not infrequently I look up to see who they are. VP and above, I'm not sympathetic to whining about costs. Regular people, I actually do think it's hard for them, and my tone of voice will reflect it.

Green beans weren't a problem, but my mom is still finding brussels sprouts stashed away in odd places.
