Whew! Thank you. It wasn't supposed to be taken literally. I really don't think they're men. Sorry if I offended you leagleaze - I really was just trying to be funny in a "good lord these girls sure have a suspicious amount of muscle" way...

Even though this program lets you do it without really knowing how (it's like a cheat-sheet) I feel like my web-fu quotient is rising, and (sniff), I'm getting verklempt. Of course, I'm nowhere near taking the grasshopper from the hand, but, the journey of 1,000 miles and yadda yadda yadda...

(I had to work in the phrase "web-fu" in there somehow!)

It's a "Jump to Conclusions Mat"! You see, you have this mat, with different CONCLUSIONS written on it that you could JUMP TO!

Is the theory here that, if you can find some way to be offended by something, then that must have been the meaning?

I think it has more to do with muscle mass and development. If you want to take the position that steroid use does not result in an inordinate kind and quantity of development, noticable to the eye, well, . . .

Apparently. Or she must be male. HILARIOUS.

And I know you didn't mean to be offensive, and you certainly don't need to apologize to me Coltrane, though I appreciate it. As you have the right to make whatever joke you want, people have the right to find it amusing or not. I found it not.

As MR pointed out it is all in perspective.

I think the real question isn't whether anyone is a man, but whether anyone else agrees with me that Venus--and Melissa Rivers particularly, though not a tennis player--looks like a horse.

And of course they're not men. They're just better tennis players than you.

paigow's "apology" was nothing more than a plea for attention. and we're all giving her exactly what she wanted. she's sitting at her desk laughing as she reads these posts.

it's all quite silly.

Agreed, and my point exactly.

It's sort of history you see Darcy. Paigow "leaves" and people beg her to stay, and she might leave for a while, or not, but, she comes back.

All in good fun.

In the end it's easier to think about yourself than it is to think about Dignan.
Coltrane, every time you post I find myself compelled to read your signature line. And then I feel bad because I have never really thought about Dignan and prefer to think about myself.

But I don't feel bad enough to actually think about Dignan.

I am sorry I cannot take credit for using that line from the Birdcage in a similar manner

I am sorry I did not know Catrin Darcy's gender or who Catrin Darcy is.

I am sorry I have used the ignore functino and then publicized my use of it.

I am sorry I was so insecure I felt the need to underscore just how valuable a poster I am to this community.

I am sorry I did not have the patience to explain what self-flagellation cop meant twice.

I am sorry that Adl thinks so little of me that he constantly has to flame me when I thought nothing of him either way.

But most of all, I am sorry I am too classy for this board.

Goodbye to those who havent already chosen to ignore me.

Does anyone else think that Serena Williams and Jennifer Capriati are "tucking"? I've stood behind this theory for a while. I've been waiting for about two years to see this headline: "Capriati's skirt too short! Penis pops out!" However, I just saw another picture of Serena in a bathing suit, and I see no evidence of either a penis or any attempt at disguising the penis a la tucking. I will refuse to accept any answer that claims they are actually women...
Serena's clearly a chick. Now Capriati... she may be a hermaphrodite. I think there may be some reverse form of Klinefelter's Syndrome that women like Martina and Capriati get. They all have horse faces and way too much acne for their ages.

I still say Sarah Jessica Parker is a hermaphrodite.

S(so is Jamie Lee Curtis)D

Where is your "signature" line from? I googled it (I'm high on my burgeoning web-fu techniques), and got only one hit that was some page about climbing mountains. Not very illuminating.

PS -- In case any of you were wondering whether every post of mine from now on will have the word "web-fu" woven into the timeless prose, the answer would be "yes indeedy."
