The Hulk (no spoilers)

Preach on, Beavis.

Lewis-Klitschko

I couldn't watch the last two rounds of the Lewis-Klitschko match on Saturday night. The gore factor was just too high.

Klitschko certainly proved that he has heart. Both fighters proved that you need more than two weeks to prepare for a fight in order to have some strategy going in. The fight resembled a bar brawl more than a boxing match.

That said, we'll get Lewis-Klitchko II on ppv whenever they decide to air it (and whenever Vitaly's face is healed from the gashes he received from Lennox's left).
I felt bad for Klitschko, but I couldn't believe they didn't stop the bout early, title fight or no. That was a nasty gash above Klitschko's eye. The rest of his face didn't look much better. Hopefully he'll be able to return to the ring soon.

While Klitschko may have won some fans, I think the fight revealed more about Lewis's lack of preparation than it did about Klitschko's skill level. Neither fighter looked sharp and I remain unconvinced about Klitschko's abilities.

Poor girl. That's awful.

Love her voice though. I think she will make it long term, despite the crippling fashion sense. I love her new album, and I am pretty certain I am not alone, even though most of you deem yourselves to music savvy to give it a chance.

Maybe she's bulking up for a one-on-one with Aretha Franklin?

More Reality TV: Project Greenlight/Making the Band

I watched Making the Band 2 on Saturday and I have have a new respect for Puffy. In watching that episode, you can see exactly why he is successful.

The other inside entertainment reality show, Project Greenlight, premiered last night. The show will be as interesting this year as last year, but with a split writer/director, the movie may be better. Then again, it could be another Stolen Summer.

Um, it wasn't the poor fashion choice that drew my gaze. It was the tub of belly-jelly sloshing around down there.

ewwwww.

Fine. She's gotta nice voice. Put some clothes on that thing for God's sake!

Did you see my post of last week re this? Just to recap, I could not believe how ungrateful and immature the group was acting in terms of thinking they were above taking orders. Did you have the same reaction?

I agree completely with your post (though I hadn't seen the episode until this weekend). These kids have been given the best opportunity imaginable, and they let it go to their heads. It's almost better that they sent them home for five months, because now their true personalities are coming out. What they fail to understand is that being in a rap group is like being in gang. There is a lot of hazing and you have to work your way up to earn the respect of the top dogs. They think they have already made it and they haven't done anything yet. If their attitudes keep up, they'll never make it.

Dylan in particular should be ashamed of himself. Puffy's comment that Dylan should be the most down ("if I asked you to rob a bank . . .") was a very true moment.

Watched it too - hope I'm not spoiling the fun for TIVOers, but yikes about the 6' 7" kid from Boston - looked like the NBA draft.

What a shocker!!!

“From Justin to Kelly,” a romance starring “American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson and runner-up Justin Guarini, opened at No. 11 with only $2.9 million.

Which is only about $2,899,994 more than a movie starring me would have made this weekend (I assume that I would buy a ticket but that hubby and son would refuse to go).
