Plasma TVs -- Worth the price?

I'm not really the final arbiter of quality, because it all looks great to me. From what I read at avsforums.com, the reliability, longevity and picture quality of DLP rear projection tvs is why many middle to high end ($4,000 to $10,000) or so enthusiasts are moving to them. They certainly, from what I read, are supposed to be nicer and sharper looking than tubs tvs. Plasma might have them beat in the first few months of use, but the degredation is evident even after a few quarters of use, I hear.

The hottie is Suzanne Cryer, who's mostly a Broadway actress, but was on the tv show "Two Guys and a Girl" nee "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place."

BTW, just to make it clear, you definitely don't want to use your home's HVAC for climate control of the wine cellar. You would never want the heat on, and the A/C might be too much. The goal is to isolate the cellar from the rest of the house as much as possible.

there's a book called How and Why to Build a Wine Cellar by Richard Gold. I think it's on Amazon, but it's also available from the wine catalogs (like IWA). It's very scientific in its approach (talking about humidity gradients and what not). You don't need all the info, but if you read it you'll get a pretty good idea of what you're trying to do. (His number 1 recommendation of excavating a cave under your house really isn't practical, but he does give an idea of how to operate on the second best).

I vaguly remember that show. She must have been waxing like crazy -- she was relatively hairless on that show, but in your avatar she's just covered in hair. And has gained some weight.

I'm now indebted to you for a nice bottle of Bordeaux, but am trying to figure out how to get it to you without revealing identities. Any ideas? Thanks!

You can send it to me and I'll make sure that he gets it.

The possibility that he ends up with a bottle of 2 buck chuck runs high though.

Works for me! If it works for Burger, just pm me where to send it and off it goes. I'll find a little bottle of something to throw in the package for facilitation.

This has all helped immensely with this originally unintended aspect of our little construction project.

Heh. I thought it was a throw-away line. I'm happy to cut out the middle-women. SEnd me a PM and I'll out myself. But if it's two-buck chuck, I'll call you out on it.

One more thing (hope construction hasn't started yet) -- look at racking before you begin so you can build to the right size. You could get custom racking, but I imagine it's a lot cheaper (i didn't price the custom) to get the pre-built stuff. Make sure you'll have the right amount of room on each side.

When I built, I measured it all out, but then baseboards and such took up just a bit too much room (I had very little space for a bigger cellar anyway), so getting racking has been a challenge.

Sorry, I forgot that pictures of Suzanne Cryer's pussy should go on the NB.

Or do you mean cut in the racketeering sense--like you get it whether or not you render a service.

Just make sure you're shipping to a state that will not get you time in prison. You know how dangerous the interstate shipping of wine is.

On another note, I need some more games for my Compaq/HP PDA. Any suggestions other than Bejeweled, Solitaire and Freecell?

OK, more importantly, where does one go to download such a game?

And if you find "illegal wine shippers of Doom" let me know.
