You have to tell the story for it to be valid. Not Bob explained his notness at some point. ncs has even explained her notness. not not flinty's notness is obvious, as are the notnesses of other not [name of frequent poster].
Thus, you, like the cheese, stand alone in unexplained notness.
Do tell.

Not Burger's notness is Not Obvious, inasmuch as em appeared to be a burger.
Someone draw me a Venn diagram. And take Flinty's pants back to him, while you're at it.
N.B. -- Waking up at 1:30 without your pants is something that happens when you're out 'til all hours carousing with weirdos and hoodlums.
eta that MR is my hero

Have we had the "best series finale ever" debate? My vote remains The Wonder Years, but I never watched MASH or MTM.

Friends will always have a warm place in my heart because of one classic line: "Cookies and porn? You're the best mom ever!"
And the series finale to end all series finales was the last scene of "Newhart" where Bob wakes up in his bed from the old Newhart show, wakes up Suzanne Pleshette, and says "You won't believe the dream I just had."

Did you do that on purpose, or is that some sort of meta-joke?

I propose a new rule. No talking to posters with "not" in their moniker. Exceptions made for Not Bob, because I love him and notcasesensitive because she's got mad moderating talent and runs the death pool. If I never ever hear from another "not", that'll be just fine with me.

Why don't you tell the story with your From There sock?

for those who were wondering (and those who were not, it seems), I first posted as ncs in 3/2002. I made DS feel bad for making fun of Ryan O'Neal by pointing out that he was dying. And now I run the death pool. Coincidence?

There are a few people I'd like to drown in the death pool. When is a lifeguard not on duty?

It's not a meta-joke, it's classic Wanker-wank-wanking. People who have a congenital inability to scroll then post should avoid message boards with large amounts of activity.

I ketchup and post in my own time. I will never scroll, then post. Fortunately, I have never laid claim to originality of thought (except for CTB, which I invented).
Indeed. Carry on.

It's a fucking message board, bitch. I don't really feel heavily invested in it. Perhaps that's because, unlike you, I have a life outside of cyberspace.
