Based on consulation with my handy-dandy cabinet tracker, I would say no. Norton, Chao and Minetta will all leave. Snow will be forced out. Jackson (Housing) will stay, as will Principi (Veterans), for at least a year. Not that those positions matter much.

And from a goddamned Fox news poll, to boot. Go figure. Even Goebbels can't slant the numbers... My guess is its more like 67%.

Thompson announced this a year ago. His job was to see that the Medicare bill got through, not to implement it. He did stick around longer than the Medicare administrator.

New NORAD coordinates for Slave

As they say, 'Tis the Season. In that spirit, I've bought and have left at Will Call tickets for this event in Brentwood tonight under the names "Slave NoMore" and "Hank Chinaski."
  • Wadsworth Theatre, 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Brentwood, at 7:30 p.m.

Michael Moore comes to Writers Bloc to discuss "Fahrenheit 911," in addition to other things. In conversation with John Dean, White House Counsel under Richard Nixon, and author of the book, "Worse Than Watergate."

If you guys don't mind, please wait until about 8pm, as it'll give me time to leave work and exit the blast zone area.

Michael Moore and Dan Rather helped Bush get re-elected. They made it impossible to criticize W. and still seem rational. Shit, not me is even moving her Nader money to help provide MM with seed money so he'll be around to support Hilary in '08.

Which of course has nothing to do with either's ability to be effective in their jobs. I'm just expressing a fashion thought.

I thought Telly Savalas was dead. Who loves you baby, indeed? And what is it with Bush's thing for NY law enforcers?

I have issues with Bush's choices of ties, generally. But that's a topic for a different board.

I am now thinking happily of the ultimate fate of the character who uttered this tres amusing line in the movie.

I'm more Sgt. Al Powell, but thanks for asking.

ETA: it is pissing me off to no end that I can't find a decent picture of him via google.

Me too, but I like this one, especially with the black suit. It's just a great color green.

ETA: do you suppose there's some place on the web that lists the brands, etc., the President wears everyday?
