Oh, and congrats, Coltrane. You guys had a great Series.

Obviously I'm happy for numerous reasons:

1. Because my adopted Chicago team won. (I'm not from Chicago but follow the Sox and go to quite a few games.)

2. Because the Astros knocked out my favorite team from childhood, the Cards (...though I think that Pujols shot is still orbiting the Earth somewhere).

3. Because the Sox win heaps even more misery if possible on the Cubs and their fans. Now they will be constantly reminded that they are all alone wallowing in their shittiness.

I guess all it takes for you to start posting again is a World Series victory. Look forward to hearing from you again in another 90 years. Ty@130, can you tell us what he'll say?

Allow me to feel just a little bitterness. The only good part about last night's game was that it didn't go into extra innings, forcing me to stay up all hours just to watch my team lose.

Congratulations. The better team won.

Untrue! Just rolled into work. Good times.

(Enjoy it now, because we're going to get you next year.)

ETA: I notice he's not here. Any reports of rioting in Chicago? Hope he's okay.
Head hurts. In a good way. I'm still in shock.

Did they they show (national) coverage of the White Sox players celebrating with Steve Perry? Steve Perry!. They were all singing "Don't Stop Believing". I don't think Steve knows that it's a joke. It might have been one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

I missed that part. Pujols's homer finally landed in my living room and smashed my tv.

Bill Veeck used to do this all the time in Milwaukee.

I love Bill Veeck stories, and I've read and heard a ton of them from when he owned the team here.

In many ways, he was a man ahead of his time.

Does anyone know if his son Mike still runs the team in St. Paul?

Wow. There no room rates, which isn't a good sign.
