"Eating disorder" is a subjective term. I had weeks were I lived on power bars and gels, albeit 3000-5000 calories worth. Not anorexic but disordered in its own charming way.

penske socks unite

As I suspected, Penske starts serial posting and the rest of the board falls quiet... You are all just a bunch of Penske socks talking to one another, aren't you?

More Spike

Spike Jones has now weighed in on the Spike TV/Spike Lee case: CNN Article. About damn time, Spike.

I cannot believe that two courts have upheld the injunction (well, one court issued, and the other upheld). I hope, assuming Spike Lee ultimately loses, that TNN goes after him for the full amount of its costs in delaying the intro of Spike TV.

Power bars and gels are not 'eating.' They are just another thing you ingest, like most vegetables, to keep from dropping dead.

However, a pb&j with some homemade preserves, excellent bread and stone-ground peanut butter is quite a satisfactory way to keep from bonking while exercising.

Is it play in your underwear day at Wimbledon?

And to preempt: I know that everyday is play in your underwear day on the FB. If you even wear underwear, that is.

Please stop with this picture -- it makes me think of that pumpkin-head dude on Nightmare Before Christmas and freaks me out. I mean I am thin but that is icky. Those boobies of hers must be fake cuz I don't see how she would keep them while starving herself to death. On second thought, I have never had much luck losing booby-mass when I lose weight (but recently I was lucky enough to stave off a jump to DDD land but that was unusual -- I am simply doomed to weigh around 130 and that extra bit of boob had no business being there) so maybe they are hers and she won't lose them until the rest of her body is nothing but skin covering bone (and she is damn close already).

NOT A SPOILER

So I finally finished the book last night. After doing some research, it seems that the Pumpkin Pasties at the feast probably weren't what I was thinking they were.

Damn. I was planning on going as a stripper for Halloween and thought I had my costume.

It's a short "a" in pasties too. Pronounced like pasta (like the way I say pasta, not the way some people say it like pahhsta) as opposed to paste.

I thought that was "boinking."

Your interpretation brings a whole new, disturbing meaning to those PowerBar "Don't bonk, now that the pressure is on..." commercials during the Olympics.

Okay, I know it's been a while (forever?) since she's won a tournament, but certainly her damages from the libel suit must have been enough for her to buy some soup?
