And warm Apple Pie feels great, too.
I believe there are, at a minimum, apple pie-scented candles. Perhaps there is an accompanying room spray that you could use as a cologne. Try Bed & Bath Works and/or Pier I.

Apparently guys get turned on when they smell cinnamon buns.* Unfortunately, the version of this scent emanating from a candle nauseates me.

*Like the food, not like some kind of freckled ass or something.

Go back to politics. Hank has pointed out that there are huge gaps in evolution that just cannot be explained by scientists.

Movies

Speaking of movies (what? we weren't speaking of movies? eh... whatever), I saw "Mean Girls" this weekend, and thought it was pretty good. I had high expectations, which were not really met, but it had its moments.

Most importantly, that Lindsey Lohan has some big boobies!

I am through. Today was a relapse, but I am committed. I will get my one month chip.

Her first recurring role was in the Young and the Restless as Isabella. Paul Williams' wife. She got pregnant and tried to kill Paul's ex-wife Christine (cricket) by drugging her. She's cute, but incredibly short. It was sometimes hard to film her with other actors because she is soo short.

The context of the e-mail was geared toward men. Therefore, women should feel free to fight naked, especially when pudding and/or jello is involved.

Now that raises a fun challenge - recipes for things other people don't eat much. I mean, when was the last time anyone here ate dewberries?

(Anyone want my sister's recipe for termites and palm wine?)
I made brined venison flank steak for dinner last night. Does that count?

Who wants to smell?

I threw the A.N. Soundtrack onto my Ipod and hooked it up to an outdoor speaker setup for a Halloween party. I put the thing on random with a shitload of of Hives, Clash, Stones, Rage, Dead... etc... The A.N. soundtrack creates a great ambiance for loud outdoor parties. I highly recommend it. There's something perfectly indulgent about listening to Black Sabbath at full bore and then hear the Ride of the Valkyries come ripping through the speakers behind machine gun fire as a sort of intermission-from-hell. Keeps the guests up.
And yet Help>Slip>Valkyries>Estimated>Guerrilla Radio just aint exactly doing it for me.

Some Razzleberry Dressing would be nice.

Might be a cultural/regional/red state thing.

Dewberries in central Texas are related to blackberries, but aren't as sweet and they have an almost sherry taste. They are ripe generally at the end of April to the end of May, and they usually grow against fences and on inclines. They always taste better when there's been a lot of rain in the spring, and I don't think anyone grows them commercially.

ETA: it is entirely possible that I am whiffing here

It certainly does in Boston.

But you may get different mileage driving in Red States.

This may not qualify, but I make really good fried okra.
