I don't recall that "on the first date" was specified. It was just a "new to her" guy. But I am reading MR's quote of the post, not the actual post, and maybe he quoted selectively.

It's more than that, actually. I generally want to know that I want to fuck someone before I want them to know about the "toe-sucking". I mean, I don't want everyone in the world to know I am a "toe-sucker".
